Blue Peter dreams and “You Complete Me”
Scott looked back on his childhood ambition to join Blue Peter, including the failed attempt to make a football pitch that was meant to prove his usefulness to the programme. The story fitted neatly with a show full of people doing their best to sound more capable than they actually were.
The team also collected real-life teacher confessions and examined the romantic usefulness, or otherwise, of telling someone “you complete me”. David continued in Oh! What’s Occurring?, as the show found games and arguments in television moments and the audience’s reactions to them.
