Oh hello, it’s Monday again. So it means another review from me. Scott Mills is back in Bristol today as he’s made another top TV appearance in Casualty. He had lots of lines, but they were cut, so we might see him on-screen for about thirty seconds. Already he’s in touch with the production team to try and get a spin off series made like Torchwood off of BBC Three. The plot has never been done before, and it’s a real storyline… Scott witnesses a man falling down the hole. But the twist is not all of the Paul Lang we see on screen is Scott, some of it is actually a body double that looks very little like him!
Innuendo Bingo
Scott’s still getting plenty of e-mails about innuendo bingo. Some very disturbing clips coming in from Sara Cox, whilst Vernon was questioning whether his listeners do riding.
This week’s Record of the Week is the amazin’ tune from hellogoodbye – it’s ‘Here In Your Arms’. I’m hoping it’ll be a big hit on the Radio 1 playlist. They’ve got an album out here on the 22nd of May too. Contrary to what some think, they’re not any impersonation of Savage Garden.
Scott: “How rude… erm… another next here… ‘Rubbish’ says one…”
Chappers: “Are the texts coming in slowly then?”

Many listeners are torn between My Chemical Romance and Coronation Street tonight. Chappers reckons you should watch the Coronation Street trial, and then press the red button after it’s over. Scott says that’s not the right approach, and informed listeners she’s found guilty. He says every one needs to listen to the live Zane Lowe show. Scott says he knows his answer now they he’s in the loop. Of course the real solution is you listen to the Radio 1 show at 9pm, catch the 11.30pm repeat of corrie on ITV2, and then press your red button the next day. Scott then started to realise what he said about Corrie, might be true. So he revealed his source. The Sun. Yes, it’s from a mock jury they made, that found her guilty, so he’d like to clear it up that she’s probably not guilty…
Continuing Scott’s new thesbian lifestyle, James Redmond (off of Casualty) was in the studio today. Scott was trying to work out who was real and who wasn’t on set of Casualty as there were plenty of people dressed up. Scott wanted to know if people often mistook James (aka Abs) for the character he is on TV. He said they don’t think he’s an actual nurse, but they do call him Abs a lot. Abs, I mean James, revealed he had to be trained before getting the role in Casualty. He believes working for Casualty is very different to working for Hollyoaks… but he kinda slagged off Bristol in the process, as he found their personalities “very different” to Liverpool.
Did you hear Bob Sinclar’s show on Friday night filling in for Pete Tong? How stereotypical French was he! Seriously, you couldn’t tell the difference between his French and Chopper’s impersonations. Loads of listeners then sent in their favourite French phrases to Scott. Peculiar, as he didn’t request them.
Speaking of Casualty, on the line today was a guy talking about getting his zip stuck on his genitals. It was a painful story, as his mum yanked the zip, and it ripped his family jewels open! He claims there is now a 6 and a half inch scar there. I’m sure there’s a bit of imagination there, either way it made my eyes water hearing the story.
Oh and finally, a mention of Unofficial Mills. As Scott says, there’s still quite a few birthday mentions left over from last week, and some great local radio material that hadn’t been played out. Including Evelyn from Stoke-on-Trent, who called into Nick Robins’ show. They were playing a great quiz, but it was clear she wasn’t the smartest tool in the box.
