Yes yes, it’s been a while since my last review as Scott was in the Far East for two weeks, but the reviews are back online at Unofficial Mills.
Scott and Laura returned from a well earned holiday in Thailand to do their first show in two weeks on Monday. They brought us back tales of a Snoop Dogg boat-trips and Finding Nemo hats they wore on most of Thursday’s show – how cute? Chappers, Neil and Emlyn were still working though. You can check out pictures of the trip on Scott’s BBC pages, including my favourite – the one of Laura sandwiched between some “performers”!
Rate My Listener
Rate My Listener also returned on Monday following JK and Joel’s ‘Men and Women in Cars’ feature, featuring such munters as Chloe from Reading and delights such as Gale from Croydon – but mostly munters.
Scott also received some unfortunate pictures of people meeting their icons and idols, but the snap went slightly wrong. You can see obscure pictures of mega-stars such as George Clooney, Ryan Giggs and David Beckham on Scott’s pages. Radio 1’s very own Spoony with Phil at his Uni summer ball is also there!
Scott’s new game – Win an Indian Take Away – featured on Thursday. All you had to do is search for a menu-number of an item at a restaurant, and if you guess it or know it and contact Scott, you win a nice take-away. Someone had to deliver the meal from Glasgow restaurant to near Sheffield!
Scott’s most favourite Flirt Divert message was played this week, his name is Gordon and would like to lick Madam Beverley’s boots. “Thank you Madam”
Scott started the show by playing us the latest instalment of Daniel’s recorded message from the Majestic Cinema in King’s Lynn. He likened his life to a newly released film – the 40 Year Old Virgin – and didn’t really tell us what else is on!
As it’s Franz Ferdinand day, the day where you can win tickets on every Radio 1 show to see Franz play live. Scott awarded 10 people with a pair of Franz tickets after hearing the Franz Alarm. Also, today you can find Matt from Guildford with his 8-pack and furry coat up for rating on Rate My Listener. Matt likes Laura off of the show and would like to see more pictures of her.

International Flirt Divert
People have been on their holidays giving the International Flirt Divert number and Laura even gave it away in Thailand. The Indian chap was back on and a Scottish guy called Dougie lost his shoes and wants them back! He left several messages and had to return home in bare feet! Scott and Chappers felt sorry for him and they want to return them to him somehow. Awwww!
