Scott thinks it could be a bank holiday today, all the skeleton staff were working upstairs at radio one offices… and why's that?… yes it's the cricket. Chappers and one of the team members who doesn't speak wasn't in today. They're at the oval. Scott spent the first part of the show talking to Chappers about cricket and the weather. The one that doesn't speak can be seen on Channel 4 on the cricket next to the caveman. Not too obvious then!
Scott played James off of Busted's new song today and got some interesting responses. I don't personally think it's anything special.

'That' Wedding
Scott was at a friend's wedding the other day, not Peter and Jordan's. It was his flat mate's sister, and the drinking begun before the wedding ceremony. They'd even given him a present of wine so he felt a bit bad. He managed to do a set for 45 minutes, and then spilt wine everywhere before asking someone else to takeover. They were expecting a 2 hour shindig from him at 11pm… But the wine had been on for 12 hours so naturally they weren't going to get much. Texts included 'why did it feedback every time you tried to use the microphone' and 'DJ Ollie was much better'. On another note do you think Chappers managed to send them a present?

Scott apologised for this, as he's been telling everyone to put Flirt Divert as 'my number'. And also tonight the first foreign caller on the answerphone – a Spanish girl.

Scott wanted to know what the Spanish message meant. There were a few porkies coming from some texters. Apparently all she wanted to know was whether they could meet up for dinner again sometime.

The Binbag Saga
Well actually it's the university saga. A lot of people are off to University this week. A lot seem to be heading for the UEA in Norwich, it's strange when people actually want to visit Norfolk, most want to leave…! (Don't worry I can say it, I live here). Anyway, Scott had a lot of calls and texts from nervous students off to various places across the UK with their bin bags packed ready to make the trip. Expect to hear some more about this in the next few days.
