Brief Round-up
G’Mornin! It’s OnlyBluuuddyFriiiday! This Friday saw Scott complete filling in for Chris Moyles and the team, who return from 6.55am on Monday morning. Scott has done a fantastic job whilst Moyles is on holiday, planning a trip to Blackpool and announcing the dates and venue for Radio One’s big weekend. Scott revealed yesterday that Sunderland would host the event on the 7th and 8th of May, announcing Natalie Imbruglia, Kasabian and the Black Eyed Peas will all play the gig. Today he added Lemar and Basement Jaxx to the bill.
Jono says: Due to today's reviewer being away for the week it means he could only bring us a short review. And no, he wasn't in Blackpool! Anyway, today's Celebrity Call was a piece of Celebrity Call Gold from the past. Jack Black calling a fast food restaurant asking the lady on the end of the call to stick some chicken nuggets up her bum which marks the last Celebrity Call with Mills for a while. As I said yesterday we'll hopefully have some for you to download coming soon to unofficialmills.co.uk. Part of the conversation today was about Most Haunted, which we'll get to see on Tuesday evening on LIVINGtv. Vernon Kay finishes his stint of doing drive time on Radio 1 this afternoon. Catch him from 4pm and Scott Mills is back on Monday from 4pm. Ooooh, wonder if he'll have a new feature to replace Celebrity Call. If he does you'll find out about it here… Eh? Dirty Boy!
