Maybe Mistajam has had his baby that he was talking about for the last few weeks.

Right, this is very random but I was thinking earlier that since the rest of the weekend schedule has had a refresh, I think the Sunday evening one really needs one so I think it really should be like this: 4:00 Life Hacks with Katie and Dr Radha (continues until 7, get rid of the awful Most Played Chart and also get rid of Cel) 7:00 Radio 1’s best of the week with Scott Mills (would also be like a request show type thing, could then get rid of the Greatest Hits show as they would be on this show) 9:00 Rock Show (Doesn’t need to be in such a prominent slot and doesn’t need to be as long) 11:00 Phil Taggart (Like his show currently is, just slightly shorter) This would also line up with the rest of the week. Any suggestions welcome?

Demi Lovato, Shawn Mendes, Anne-Marie, Hailee Steinfeld, Bastille, Clean Bandit, Jason Derulo and Florence and the Machine have all been added to the Biggest Weekend Line up!

Also Scarlett will be doing Saturday night takeaway for the next two weeks so wouldn’t have been able to do it anyway.

She is literally the new Gemma Cairney with her news intros.

It’s actually Example throughout April but Scarlett is coming up. I don’t think Matt was supposed to be having any co host this weekend as it’s the Greatest Hits Weekend.

Are they trying to push Mollie as a new presenter then maybe? She’s been very good with Matt and she seems to be on this weekend on the Friday and Saturday with Matt which I don’t think was the original plan.

I’m also liking Jordan covering but he seems to be playing LOADS more songs than Greg does (and even Dev when he covers)

Schedule Changes: Good Friday is the same as a normal Saturday with Easter Monday being the same as a normal Monday. On Good Friday, Annie Mac and Danny Howard are presenting the Rave Lounge from 7pm to 1am which seems like a nice idea. And for (at least) the next two weeks Alice is doing Weekend Breakfast on her own.

Few more things to add here: Jordan is in for Greg from Monday 26th to Thursday 29th with Mistajam covering the chart on Friday. The rest of Good Friday is like a normal Saturday: 4:00 Adele Roberts 6:30 Greatest Hits with Alice Levine 10:00 Greatest Hits with Maya Jama 1:00 The Matt Edmondson Show Finally, I think Easter Monday is the same as this apart from Jordan doing the Greatest Hits.

Roushan helps produce all of the weekend shows I think. Matts producer is good but not in the same league as Chris was unfortunately. I listened to some of the show this morning and I don’t think they really played more tracks than normal, I think it was just more at the start of the show and less in the middle which probably makes sense with the small audience at that time in the morning. Also I know this isn’t strictly this topic, but I feel like Cels time at Radio 1 might br coming to an end - He never seems to be on anyone else’s show, never seems to cover for anyone and isn’t in the new life hacks podcast which is just Katie and Dr Radha.

Also, Jordan is covering for Greg on the 26th and 27th and might be for the rest of that week. Annie is also off Wednesday and Thursday next week and Monday the week after.

And then Jordan was on Greg’s show last week as well so I’d imagine they are just trying to promote both shows.!

Reason #375 If they have put this in because they need to play more songs, then it’s a bit rubbish as they used to play 5 or 6 songs on RONR anyway so they’re only really increasing the songs by 1 or 2 every day.

It seems to only be on Monday and Tuesday.

I agree with everything that’s been said the last couple of days. Mollie has been sounding great with Matt and it’s a shame that she’s going to go and be replaced by Scarlett Moffatt, who’s just irritating. Matts solo show has also been sounding very slick. I’m enjoying the Greatest Hits show, more with Jordan but Maya isn’t as bad as I was expecting her to be. I do wonder a couple of things though - what will happen when Matts on holiday or something? Will his cohost present on their own or will someone else present with them? Also, when Scott and Chris are on breakfast, I wonder if Maya will join them on Fridays or if she will stay with the cover presenter? Finally, I think the producers of the weekend shows have moved around as well - Matts moved with him onto the new show, Dev’s old one has moved onto the Greatest Hits so I presume Alice’s producer will be producing her and Dev. Overall, I feel like Radio 1 is in a great shape right now and probably the best for quitea few years!

Only £19,000 raised so far. I thought it would be quite a bit higher than that and I think Greg sounded a bit disappointed in that as well.

And Greg still isn’t there, an hour late. They also seem to be having quite a few technical issues with how cold it is. Adele has also said that today is his shortest cycle and is also meant to be the warmest day this week so I’m a bit worried for him for the rest of the week.

I think this is only here for a few weeks before the new comedy starts on a Friday morning as well.

Probably because Matt is playing a lot less songs than Alice used to, so it evens out throughout the day.

So how was Maya then? I didn’t get a chance to listen
