Ahh, that’s why Matts not on at all then. The DJs all decide to take their time off at the same time don’t they? They were all here for the last 6 weeks and now they’re all gone.

Is Scott on holiday or something? I’d imagine they might br saving Matt and Mollie for when Scott and Chris are on breakfast for Grimmy and then they’ll do Scott’s Show. I think Jordan will probably do the chart on Friday.

I think it might be Jordan on drive. Cel, I think, is covering the Greatest Hits the day before Greg’s meant to be off, and on the day that Greg is meant to start being off, Adele is doing Clara’s Show which means that Will Best is covering Adele which is what Jordan normally does so could mean that Jordan is doing Greg’s show. Alternatively, it could just mean he’s on holiday.

I’ve also signed the petition. Hopefully it will help some more people hear about it. This new breakfast show isn’t looking promising now with no Chris Smith and maybe no podcast. Hopefully Greg and his team can surprise us.

I’m glad it’s fake really. She doesn’t deserve this much hate by that newspaper and as much as I don’t like her broadcasting, she seems like a nice person!

Wow! I really wasn’t expecting his last show to be that soon, I think he’ll have a month off and start his new show on the 20th August. That will mean though that half an hour of it will still be the Summer Mix which would be annoying. And then Grimmy would probably take 2 weeks off and also start on the 20th which means that we might be getting Matt and Mollie doing Scott’s Show, Scott doing Breakfast and Jordan doing Drive. I think that the song he hates most might be Rise by Jonas Blue. It’s a very generic dance song and he doesn’t seem to like generic things that much. Alternatively it might be Yikes by Kanye West or ASAP Rocky song (praise the Lord I think it’s called)

Jordan is also covering for Matt with Mollie for the rest of the weekend and so Cel is doing Jordans Greatest Hits Show. Jordan is also covering Adele on Monday and Tuesday and possibly all week because Adele is covering Clara’s Show.

Was Chris on What’s My Age Again today? I didn’t get to listen but I hope so. For the new breakfast show, I’m generally hoping that we get less music played (I doubt it), A great Zoo format with Chris, Grace and Chris with them all chipping in at various points and also brand new features with maybe only keeping a couple of current features. I also want the features to be recurring but not every week so if you turn on the radio, you don’t know what will happen. I want a surprise element! As for Grimmys new show, I’m hoping that he’ll get more time to be off script and himself where anything can happen. I’m expecting mostly new features (as he doesn’t really have much at the moment) and I’m hoping that he plays about the same amount of music that Greg does at the moment because I think that’s just right.

I’m not sure if this is a rule but the Radio 1 DJs never seem to mention their children. Matt also has a 1(?) year old daughter and don’t think he’s ever mentioned it.

Also, Katie is doing Jordan’s Show this weekend. Would someone be able to tweet Jono to see if he could fix the homepage?

Alice is off on the 30th and 1st of July so Dev is doing Breakfast solo. She’s still doing the Friday show though.

A shame for Huw, he must be on his way out now. But glad that they’ve sorted out the Sunday schedule and Phil Taggart has a slightly more prominent show. Also looking forward to hearing how Jack is, I’ve never heard him before. Also, Monki isn’t actually leaving as it says she’s she’s remaining part of the Dance Family so I presume that whenever any of the Friday Night DJs are off, she’ll cover for them, a bit like what Heidi used to do a couple of years ago?

Dev is in for Charlie Wednesday and Thursday next week and all of the week after with the 8th

I’m hoping it’s because it’s a stand-alone event because I’ve not been that impressed this year. No live camera feed so we could watch the DJs as well as the performances, We’ve only got 2 or 3 songs per people’s sets, and there has been no big entrance like there used to be.

Finding it slightly annoying that the live stream is only showing the performances and not the presenters like it did before. I miss seeing the presenters live as well.

I thought it might be Yasser since he’d have been doing Weekend Breakfast over the weekend and it would save Jordan having to travel back from Swansea on Sunday night.

Some changes over the next couple of weeks: Jordan and Maya are both doing the Greatest Hits together on Saturday presumably in preparation for the Biggest Weekend. Then on Sunday, Cel is doing the Greatest Hits with Jordan doing Matts Show. Then all next week, the DJs are doing one show each from Swansea so Greg on Monday, Scott on Tuesday, Clara on Wednesday and Grimmy invite Thursday. Greg is also back on the chart on that Friday. The Biggest Weekend schedule has already been posted above. The week after has Adele doing the breakfast show on the Monday and Phil doing Annie’s show in Monday as well. At the moment there is no presenter doing the Early Breakfast Show.

Did anyone hear Matt and Mollie today? Were they any good?

Presumably it’s his normal team then rather than grimmys team.
