I’ve just seen that for the information for the shows on Iplayer radio and BBC Sounds, on Scott’s Show on Wednesday, it says he has a big announcement to make! I wonder whether this might be the return of Innuendo Bingo!

Did anyone hear Nikki Osborne or Adam English yesterday or today? I’ve just listened to some of both of their shows back, and I really liked what I heard of Adam! Sounds a bit like a young Greg or Jordan with his delivery so hopefully he gets more cover slots in the future. Also, interestingly, both of them had their names recorded which suggests that R1 may have plans for them to cover again.

I’m not sure it will be Cardiff since it was in Swansea this year! I also don’t think Olly Murs will perform but I agree with both your other performers

I’m predicting it will be announced mid January with Stormzy as a headliner and it will be in Aberdeen! Most likely I will be wrong though!

Dev is still presenting the 8th the week commencing the 14th of Jan! I thought Rickie, Marvin and Charlie were meant to start at the start of Jan?

Sorry to double post but the 8th is still happening well into the new year with Dev still presenting it week commencing the 7th January! All the other normal presenters are back that week though

I think they’ll use their own package! Mollie is there though so it’s not like they’re both off - Jordan is doing everyday from Christmas Eve!!

On Saturday 5th January, the new Rap Show with Tiffany Calver begins. Jordan is also in for Matt which means that they still don’t want Mollie doing her own show strangely!

This is a complete guess but I would think the 5th January for the rap show and the 7th January for Rickie, Melvin and Charlie’s Show. There might even be a confirmed date somewhere that I’ve not seen yet!

Jordan was doing Clara’s show earlier - I’d have thought they’d have called Matt in though!

I’m not going to post a full list of when they’re on but between now and Christmas on the early breakfast show it’s mostly either Jordan or Arielle doing it with Adele doing the odd show!

Would someone be able to post when the Christmas schedule gets put up on Digiguide or Digital Spy? It was exactly today last year so I’m expecting it any day now!

So the first few point she of interest have been revealed in relation to Christmas from the BBCs Christmas Radio Highlights press pack. These are: • Scott Mills will be hosting the Christmas Official Chart on Friday 21st (not unexpected) • There will be a Ten Hour Takeover on Christmas Eve hosted by Scott and Chris (6:30 - 10), Clara Amfo (10 - 1), Arielle Free (1 - 4) and Jordan North (4 - 7). Surprised to see that Clara seems to be working over the Xmas period. • Scott Mills will be Live on Christmas Day (6:30 - 10) as well as Jordan North (4-7). Annie Mac, The 8th and Jack Saunders Christmas specials follow this. Seems to be same schedule as last year? • Boxing Day will have the best Live Lounge replays all day. • Friday 28th will have the chart of the year from 1 - 6. This will be hosted by Alice and Dev (1-4) and Scott Mills (4-6) • On New Years Eve, Arielle Free will be hosting from 5 - 9 and then Jordan North will be taking over. From this, I’m guessing that both Arielle and Jordan will be working a lot over Christmas. Also surprised that Alice and Clara are working as they normally take Christmas off!

I think it might be Alice because Matt did all the week before and his weekend shows would mean he would do lots of radio in a row and obviously they couldn’t have Dev and Alice because Dev is doing the 8th. I do wonder though why Jordan isn’t covering at all? He sounded good in the summer with Chris. He’s not covering the Greatest Hits when Maya is off either. I wonder if he’s getting a bit of time off before he probably does a show everyday round Christmas!

That’s disappointing for her, only 1 Show a week!

I do wonder whether she might have gone to Matt and Mollies show since they need a new producer now Will has gone. This is very clutching at straws, but some of the stuff they’ve done on the show in the last couple of weeks sounds lots like the Chris Sawyer era of Matts Show - and since Grace was with him for the last couple of years, she may have got some inspiration!!

I wouldn’t be surprised if she gets the mid morning slot in the future, she would add a nice load of personality. But saying that, she hasn’t even done a show by herself yet so I think it will be a while!

I think Scott’s producer Mark Lockett may have left the show judging by his Twitter. I have noticed a slight difference in the show in the last couple of weeks but I don’t know who the new producer is!
