  1. I'd rather use iTunes than go to the website because I already use iTunes for other podcasts so it's easier to just get everything from one place. Also I think there's a bit of a delay between when they release the podcast and when it appears in iTunes - I think it's to do with their hosting provider or something. Other podcasts have that 'problem'.
  2. He certainly doesn't ever hold back with his opinions/thoughts. A little like Chris but more controversial.
  3. Thanks! I took it out of my bedroom window a few days ago. I love sunsets.
  4. Apparently Beccy didn't take whatever they use to make the podcasts with them up to Edinburgh.
  5. I can't imagine Jordan singing unless it was at one of those dodgy karaoke nights, in which case she'd fit right in.
  6. I can only imagine all the complicated safety rules and legislation have been put in place because of those who will just sue for the most ridiculous things.
  7. Thought this was an interesting article. I suppose for some companies banning things due to health and safety concerns can help save them some money. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-14634289 And apparently bosses at Butlins have banned the bumper cars as well, saying that although people can use them they have to be careful, travel around in the same direction and overtake only when safe. WTF?
  8. Looks okay to me, but I've never been to a festival so I suppose I don't have any 'expectations'.
  9. I can't download them either. I don't think they've 'uploaded' them. Probably best to wait until Monday.
  10. A 'flying steel rollercoaster' at the park, basically.
  11. I listened to all of the first show, and some of the second, but yesterday I didn't bother. I don't really have the energy to stay up that late every night. It's okay though from what I heard. I just hope they'll be available to watch afterwards.
  12. Yeah I like the PR4L, that's probably my favourite feature.
  13. When I first joined UM I listened to Scott religiously, but now it's more about Moyles than anything. That's the main Radio 1 show that I listen to a lot of. I still listen to Scott's podcast but I don't tend to bother with anything live other than Moyles. It's weird how habits change like that but there you go. I find all the other daytime shows dull as hell. Basically it's just 'hello' followed by two records, some awkward banter and then more songs. Oh, and sometimes a guest who are also super dull and just there to shift records/books/whatever. It's really only Chris' show that remains as something I actually want to listen to. Longest post in a while!
  14. So it's worth me tuning in? I wasn't going to bother.
  15. I wonder how much of an impact the show coming from the event for the past two years has had on increasing the publicity of it. For example, do you think there are a lot more people that know about the festival and are planning on going as a result of it being featured on Scott's show?
  16. The riots. Hard to avoid coverage of them. I try to avoid hearing about them because it makes me so annoyed and frustrated.
  17. I'm not sure how similar they are to the TV figures in terms of accuracy. If they were it wouldn't be very good, the TV figures involve taking sample households and calculating averages (I think).
  18. Monday's show was good. I like the PR4L every day. That's probably the best feature left on the show, IMO.
