The bandwidth/server costs probably weren't worth it.

They are a bit boring. Nothing special compared to some of the guests they have had on the show.

Would they have to go to a different location for that, a-la One Direction? I imagine they'd be a massive crowd outside. They'd have to close the whole street.

Yeah, I suppose in the morning it isn't as bad because you've got a whole day ahead of you, and it kinda helps to wake you up, but in the evening, you have some and you're alert right up until you get to bed.

Chris mentioned on the show today that they have been doing the show for so long they've found there's a real pattern to the listening figures. Up, up, down, down, put simply. They always loose listeners over the summer because a lot of them are young people getting up early for school or people getting up for work, and because a lot of them are on holiday they stay asleep and so don't turn on the radio. Personally, I am too dedicated to do that

As a cyclist, I often am reminded of this. And it is good to hear your cousin was not too badly hurt DC.

No doubt they will discuss the impressions of the team they did, at length.

Since I stopped drinking coffee I've been sleeping a lot better. Not sure if it is the only thing that has caused it but it's certainly different.

I think the young version is less cringing compared to the 'standard' show because they are less cocky than the adults.

Yeah I really don't think young people don't work to work at all, I think many of them are very determined. There just aren't the vacancies out there for all of them. Still, I think he is always a good guest on the show.

Arcade Fire, I seem to find, are similar in that respect.

I know some kids at my high school used to do stuff like that. They had to be careful though because it wasn't encouraged, shall we say.

I tried to avoid it as best as I could but my brother always has his radio on super loud (even though it's right next to him) so I couldn't really help hearing it. It just sounded boring. I'm sure some of the awards went to some great people but the actual line-up was dull. Waste of money in my opinion.

Once I got into podcasts I never really have a dull moment anymore. I just listen to those. And Reddit.

I think it's great that you put in the work for that.
