  1. Yeah but Viv changes her mind as often as her socks.
  2. To really 'step into Wogan territory', he needs to present it while slowly getting drunk, no?
  3. Curley's wife? Is your study text Of Mice And Men then?
  4. a larger headphone jack plug? Don't know what else anyone might have see... nah, couldn't keep a straight face there. New PB with Completion Bonus for making it all the way: 21781
  5. I have no friggin idea why, but I've been in a good mood since I woke up, especially considering I had next to no sleep and no particular good news. Even managed to tolerate the presence of and conversation with the incompetent one at work with almost a smile... and while bringing up yet another rota problem. Sorta happy but also call me very confused. When I did volunteering, I was one of a team helping someone who had an array of illnesses, but amazing positivity with it, and described herself as 'happily confused'... I now understand better what she meant.. I think. It was kinda like being Monday without the Monday feeling.
  6. Yeah like that, good game, nice attribute building element too 8881 is my PB so far.
  7. Eh that seems a random choice... she ain't EVER gonna be using em, does she even live up there anymore?
  8. He likes 70s too, I'd imagine this morning he played quite a bit of Bee Gees, was him who played the full version of Hocus Pocus by Focus a lot around the time of the World Cup too?
  9. Ew, I can't believe you went there... who am I kidding, I practically BET on it... and here's the OTHER Baku http://en.memory-alpha.org/wiki/Ba%27ku_%28planet%29 Madonna would have LOVED it there... her and Joan Rivers.
  10. Yeah there's NO adverts anywhere in London for the Olympics, and certainly no GIANT OLYMPIC RINGS hanging in St Pancras station like this... I wonder if this will be another geography lesson as people struggle to find out exactly where Baku is. Times like this I'm glad Jedwood aren't English though.
  11. I know Humperdinck is the Brit entry... that tells me all I need to know in the absence of Lordi and suchlike.
  12. You probably thought it was a Smurf spinoff...
  13. but you ignored the fact they even have influence... he who controls the funding etc. Viv, to be fair, has now given SOME explanation, (kinda a repeat of what I said) you still haven't.
  14. Getting Cameron out of power would be a start, so he can't help his mates in the banking sector.
  15. They're already cut it back as far as they can, to 1 show a week...
  16. Moyles was fooled by that? Thought it was staged his side til she told him look at the camera. It was rather good as impressions go.
  17. At this rate, Radio1 will become as bad as Crapital...
  18. Clearly a trendsetter. Would be funny if he was actually one of the people who started this site They could combine it with a regular feature in the Metro which is basically Missed Connections in Print...
  19. or not... but that's how a LOT of people are reading it... maybe they need reading lessons. http://www.guardian.co.uk/media/2012/may/16/blue-peter-childrens-shows-bbc1 Seems to me the CBBC move isn't a bad one at all, but I wonder what it will be replaced with, more Bargain Hunt clones and minor variations, Columbo/Quincy repeats? Whenever I visit family or friends with kids who are watching Kids TV, it's usually on the specialist kids channel on Freeview or Sky etc anyways, BBC or not. Also interesting there about BBC3 reducing Drama, Music and Entertainment... "and focus on appealing to younger audiences" don't remember seeing that much music outside of Festival coverage, but some of the Drama they have like Being Human and The Fades has been great. Sadly this seems to mean we'll end up with more Crapumentaries like My Penis And I or that Young, Dumb... stuff, because of course Drama, Music and Entertainment don't appeal to Younger Audiences... ever.
  20. I didn't miss it, I just wilfully ignored it in favour of my own...
  21. Worked for Summer Strallen, got noticed by Lloyd-Webber, then got crowbarred into Hollyoaks for a while playing a character that ended up chasing Lloyd-Webber down a London street to audition for a lead in a musical (I think it was The Sound Of Music), then left the show to Actually do that. This was back when Hollyoaks was vaguely watchable (OK, she was one of the reasons it was watchable).
  22. Just seen this tweeted out: This tweeter seems to think it was Moyles' plan all along since starting out in Radio?
  23. Ahh yes I like Melody, found her about the same time I discovered the Jazzy stylings of Renee Olstead.
  24. I don't know... or care enough to check. Last time I even paid attention, it was that delightful German girl and her poppy entry that won.
