  1. this time of year's pretty slow music wise, with not that much new stuff being out since xmas, etc.

Probably why you think it's sounding repetitive/commercial

So true, I noticed this when Lady GaGa started to hang round the top and even get to Number1 ages after the song was released.

Things are about to change, lots of new acts soon, more Saturdays, Kate Nash also.

  2. Andrew Lloyd Webber is reportedly battling with the BBC over the title of his new show.

In 2008, it was announced that Webber would be involved in a new reality project with BBC One to find the protagonist for The Wizard Of Oz.

However, last year, Webber revealed that he had pulled out of the reality series and confirmed a rift with the BBC.

"The BBC want to call the series Over The Rainbow but I want to call it The Oz Factor," he said. "I hope to win that battle too."

I think it is clear that 'Over The Rainbow' is by far the better choice but the poll shall decide.

...or is this all a rubbish publicity stunt...

I think the main point of this thread is because 'The Oz Factor' sounds like some crappy joke.

  3. Now, some fans of the show may remember the ex team member Chappers.

But what has he been up to since...

-ESPN Premier League coverage & Talked of the Terrace show.

-BBC Match of the Day & Final Score.

    -Chappers even has a <a href=http://www.amazon.co.uk/Heroes-Hairbands-Hissy-Fits-Chappers/dp/0593064267/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1263397891&sr=8-1> new book! </a>

-It also seems Chappers now has a nickname and calls himself Mark Chapman most of the time.

Ok some of those he did while he was with Scott, however Chappers has been announced for a new show:

The BBC has confirmed presenters for each regional variation of its new Monday night English Football League show Late Kick Off.

Taking charge of the London and South East edition will be BBC Radio 5 Live sports presenter Mark Chapman, who will discuss events affecting Crystal Palace, QPR, Millwall, Charlton, Leyton Orient, Barnet, Watford, Brentford, Brighton, Gillingham, Dagenham & Redbridge and Wycombe.

"I have been given the chance to watch football, talk football and meet some of the region's biggest football names so there aren't many supporters who wouldn't want this job," said Chapman.

If you spot Chappers anywhere, TV or in the news, add it to Chappers watch :)
