  1. I don't think she's very attractive. Not that my opinion really matters and it's radio!
  2. Are you sure? Have you asked him? He might like this idea.
  3. I saw in a magazine yesterday that she was out of rehab. The picture was of someone wearing a top hat. I thought it was a man  Ignoring your point about not getting into an argument: Don't be RIDICULOUS. Would you rather Pete Doherty hosted it? I'm sure he's got plenty of stories to share and the children would love him.
  4. I get confused and keep nearly writing on my own wall instead of changing my status, and it took me ages to work out how to put photos up!
  5. Hehe. Hello, have you met my boyfriend, Jono? You need to talk to him about being a fussy eater Can't say I make a habit of smelling my pee...
  6. I don't think they should be allowed to. Cos' like, you might've worked it out perfectly that you could JUST afford £3,000. It seems like a contractual agreement being broken to me.
  7. Asparagus is yummmm. You lot are all weird
  8. I get barely any money when I go to university next year. Everyone assumes that because my parents' income is a little above average I will have it easy, but that's not the case. I'm going to be paying for everything at university out of my own money, I'm not going to be receiving an allowance or anything from my parents, and they have told me I'll probably need 2 jobs while I'm a uni to pay for everything. I do get a bursary but it's not even going to be enough to pay 2 weeks of food bills. It really annoys me because the same thing happened with EMA at sixth form. We don't have it easy with money, we have a lot of bills to pay and money is often tight in our household. I don't get EMA because I'm just outside the boundary for receiving weekly funds. I've not received pocket money from my parents since I was 10, and even then I worked for it doing chores etc. When I was 15 my parents made me get a job and I've kept it ever since. My parents don't buy me anything other than food when we eat together, which I don't complain about, because I think it's how all teenagers should be brought up and it's made me move into 'the real world' pretty quickly. What was upsetting when I reached Sixth Form was the number of people receiving an EMA of £30 a week (which was my weekly wage at work) for doing the same amount (or less) of work I produced and showing up to just as many (or less) classes as I did. PLUS they get a £100 monthly 'bonus' if they show up to a certain percentage of lessons. If they're marked down as not showing up to these lessons, they can contest it and still get their EMA. I'm not saying that no one spends their EMA justly, only that I've never come across anyone in my school who doesn't spend it on clothes, drinks and going out, etc. EMA is a brilliant idea, I just think everyone should get it - the same as with grants/bursaries. /rant. Also I've heard that the rises in fees will effect people at university now, as well as people starting in the next few years, is that true?
  9. Looooads, other than those I'll eat pretty much anything, which, if you think about it, makes me quite an adventurous eater
  10. Mashed potato, baked beans/spaghetti hoops, rice pudding, duck in any form, peas, any combination of ham & pineapple, apples, pears, or fruit of any description in a savoury main course, omelette/scrambled egg (though it is often forced upon me), stuffed pasta, particularly the meat kind, paté, shepherd's pie/cottage pie, mayonnaise/salad cream, horseradish flavoured anything, chutney, marmalade, meat with loads of fat you have to cut round. ETC.
  11. Not doing brilliantly on the money front at the moment, but thought I'd make an exception to my 'desperately trying to save money for various things' spree yesterday and bought my mum some nice shoes, only to return to the shop today to find they've been reduced by 20%. Arrrgh.
  12. I was only saying yesterday how it probably wasn't too bad as I heard she was talking, and the media sometimes have a way of exaggerating these things. Sadly sometimes after a head injury you can feel fine but then detereorate very quickly. Feel very sad for Liam Neeson and family.
  13. I knew you would have something to say about this.
  14. I don't think you should be too hopeful of them developing a cure and adminstering it to Jade in a matter of hours. I think everyone needs to remember that although this is tragic, there are thousands and thousands of other people dying of cancer and many of them have had more difficult fights or done it completely alone. I'm glad that she has raised this awareness, though.
  15. You've been wishing for people to die? Nice. I'm afraid a miracle cure doesn't really exist for cancer, so that is quite unlikely. At least she's raising money for her children, and stuff.
  16. Did you have a 'Thnks Fr Th Mmrs' blank? L O L O L 5. Is 'All Sparks' by Editors, 9. Is 'Skeleton Song' by Kate Nash
  17. Excuse me! Says the guy who sleeps with a duvet wrapped round his head with just his eyes poking out, you look like something off of Star Wars: http://www.vegatransports.com.au/AustralianStarwars/TRaider.jpg
  18. Got the DVD to both series' of that too. It's very funny at times, but some of it causes me to question whether it's a joke or the actors ARE their actual characters, heh. Worth watching :)

  19. Got the DVD :)

Have you seen Man To Man with Dean Learner too? Classic

  20. :o G A R T H M A R E N G H I?

I thought I was the only person to have seen it ;):)

  21. Dumping via social networking sites = all time low. Jono would probably dump me on here I'm not on the computer all the time whereas I do always have my phone with me. I imagine if I got dumped by email I wouldn't know until a few hours later, probably after I'd sent lots of texts to said person in a perfectly happy way. email dump? You may as well send a letter/telegram when it comes to people like me
