I love Arctic Monkeys, although the second album wasn't as good as their first it was still brill! I wonder when the first song will be played on the radio? I guess it'll be on Zane's show and he'll have an interview and big hype for about a week. I wonder if we'll get a (currently fashionable) freebie from the Arctic Monkeys?

I know, I mean the red button coverage It seems to be starting later than last year, and, no coverage of the jazz world stage? That's where many of the best unexpected highlights were last year.

I'm not complaining because the coverage is great this year BUT from what I gather from the press release it doesn't seem as good as last year, maybe Im just being ungrateful though

I've heard that you can only eat Swan when in royal company, whether it's a myth or not I'm not sure. I think I heard someone on the radio the other week talking about how eating swan with the Duke Of Edinbrough(sp?) was one of his biggest honours, but that swan wasn't paticularly nice, can't remember who though.

I've got a feeling that the ice cream has something to do with eating it off someone aswell, especially considering the hair.

Worth it though, hillarious story

I liked the show, but it's very different from Colin's, I guess I'll just have to tune into 6music for my fix of alternative from now on. I still hope with time that Grimmy will stray further from the mainstream though. btw I disagree with above poster, the three top talents are Moyles, Mills and Zane. Zane is pretty much a radio man though, so it doesn't take away from your point, but I thought I'd have my say

He has got a point imo, but I don't think it's necisseraly (sp) their fault, I think both Jo and Edith's slot would be much better if they had more free reign on their music choice. It doesn't matter as much with Moyles and Scott because they're entertainment shows.

I'm a big Colin Murray and Nick Grimshaw fan and I think he'll be good. I might even listen to fivelive a bit as well once Colin starts Haven't heard the trailer, what's it like?

I think the line up this year is also a bit old for Radio 1 these days to be honest.

6music will have round the clock coverage though, so it's not all bad. As long as the Tv coverage is as good as last year, I'll be very happy

I think this could be quite a good idea tbh. I dont care for the charts much nowadays anyway, but if it's exicuted well I can see myself listening to this Also it's nice to see the top 10 getting more eclectic recently with some british hip hop and dance artist getting in there

I love Tim Minchin :L he was really good imo. I'd like him to guest on Grimmy's new show sometime, then he can play his, better, less breakfast friendly stuff
