thats the one! Yeah they were getting slightly monotonous every half hour. Lie the new versions of them though, i personally think they will change all the time to the sung ones but maybe not use them as much as they have in the past

ditto! I like the music 4 montages they always sound really good, but then that is their job i supose!

i think it is really just letting potential customers know they work for R1 so dont really need the whole "Download BBC Radio 1 podcasts......" etc

The the Music 4 Montage VOs are the old R1 VOs (i.e. Jody latham & the old lady (forgot her name!)) i just think Music 4 aren't bothered about changing them as it isn't really beneficial for them, the old ones do the job.

now i know its there it does stand out quite a lot!! Good though

thanks, have listened back at it now, i quite like it, cant help but notice it being an anomolyt though considering all the other imaging is now BBC Radio 1 and not just Radio 1.

Am i mistaken or have i recently heard i sung 1tro? I think they sung the word Radio 1 over the top of a 1tro and then had the usual FX Vocal ID? Anyone confirm/deny it if they heard it to?

that was possibly the owrst thing i have ever heard on radio 1 (other than Nihal!) and am very pleased it has gone. I dont think i ever even saw anyone flash flashing anyway!
