  2. im the same. my job lets me (not offical though!) pop home any time i want. i never ever do(!!!), incase my boss happens to read this. and when bbs on, i pop in all the time to see what the crack is and who is up for eviction, before the radio gets it. sad or what??!!
  3. poor bastards eh? soz for swearing like.
  4. yes it is so sad. whan you have srpogs yourself, you do not know how lucky you are to have them with full health.
  5. oh god your so right! it gets worse the older you are. i had the best upbring anybody could ask for. my mam and dad both worked (remember im a 60s child!) so we went abroad twice ayear when nobody else was, we had 2cars,we had a caravan we went to for 6weeks of the summer hols, and we could take loads of pals, we got everything we wanted (we werent loaded, and still arent. my oldies worked and still do for everything we had).and we had lots and lots of love...................and the weird thing is. all that time, my mam was so unhappy, she left my dad as soon as we left home. but i do not remember any arguments, just happy sunny days.
  6. i was!! i was thinking all that pain ive just gone through to get him, and i go and lose him the 1st time i take him out! heres another, yesterday i slept in to take my daughter to school, so i just went in my pjs and jumped in my sons car (WHICH HAS AN L PLATE ON) and on the way back, i got stopped by the police in rush hour traffic and had to get out the car while they give me a producer ,to show them i had really passed my test and i wasnt a learner!
  7. i knocked the refridgerating unit right off the top of my van, by going into a multi storey carpark that was too low down for me!... i missed my plne home from tenerife... when i had my 1st sprog, i left him outside a shop and forgot about him for 10mins. he was still ther when i went back for him!.. oh god i could fill this page up just by myself!

  19. i agree serin. we need something clean and green. if i didnt have sellifield in my back garden, and i had no experience of working there, i would probly be screaming from the highest rooftops about how bad n.f is. but alot of people round my way, would lose their jobs, homes, cars, livestyle and usually their families, if sellifield was to go.

    Ideal Life

i always knew id have kids. i wanted 2lads and a lass. ive got one of each, so i stopped and got a dog instead of having another sprog. advice from an old lass- if you want a career, do it before you have kids or you will end up with a job instead of the career you wanted.like learning to drive really. i always wanted to be a nurse, but couldnt afford to train as one (things are different now, you get help with money and childcare etc) so i just have always had jobs (and dreams), but i must say ive loved everyone job ive ever done, but ive always fancied to start to train as a nurse.
  21. its very cold where i am too. im on here with d.housewifes on in the back ground and hubby is snoring his head off.
  22. i dont really know much about it all really (even if i sounded like i did!), i just know what it would do to our local economy.also all the other sites must be the same. i do know that working in a nuclear plant is so safe, that they wash you down, when they are fully suited up, if you as much as sneeze!:-p You need permission to work for this, that and the other, there is some much safety that it often holds the work up. the alarms go off all the time, and when Chernobyl happened, the alarms went crazy, over here.( lets not forget chernobyl was a very old site that needed much updating).
  23. yep im with you on this one irishbaz. i think if dennis follows george out, petes going to be lost and cause loadsa little niggles!
