Chris Stark caused himself all sorts of bother on Capital Breakfast after getting his McFly members mixed up. Sian Welby had told him that Harry Judd sent his love and wanted advice on artificial grass, so Chris DM’d a man he thought was Harry asking “I hear you’re in the market for some grass… I’m your guy.” The message actually went to Danny Jones, who replied baffled, before Chris realised his mistake. “We’re now deep in lawn chat, which is where we need to be,” he said once things were smoothed over, though he admitted the whole exchange had gone via “some quite dodgy messages.”

Capital Buzz announced its first ever live show, Capital Buzz Live, taking place at Indigo at the O2 on 1 December. Jordan North and the team revealed an expanded lineup including Arthur Hill, Flower of Love, Chloe Keisha, Moonchild Sanelly and Bashcroft, best known to some listeners from Celebrity Traitors. Tickets went on general sale at 10am via Global Player, with the presenters urging listeners to grab them fast.
The show also previewed a big Feel Yourself Friday, Capital’s breast cancer awareness tradition, confirming Tom Grennan will join them for a special show encouraging listeners to check their chests. Jordan revealed the idea began after his own experience with testicular cancer led to a sister feature, Balls to Monday, and the trio spent much of the show trying to persuade Grennan to record a cheeky awareness anthem live on air.
