Danny Mylo and Rosie Madison opened their Early Breakfast with a playful dig at Matt Edmondson, after he muted his mic on yesterday's show while telling Mollie King which celebrity he reckoned he could "pull" on his best day. Rosie played back the clip and joked that Radio 1's secret "lip-reading technology" had cracked the mystery, before doing an impression and declaring, "I'm Mr Dumbledore," suggesting Matt fancies himself as a Matt Smith lookalike.
Rosie also shared a family mishap live on air, revealing that Danny's mum had checked herself into Disneyland Paris on Facebook despite not being there, having downloaded holiday snaps sent by Danny's partner from a family group chat and reposting them as her own. The pair turned it into a new segment of social media "rules", with listeners suggesting bans on fake location check-ins and "view from my office" holiday captions.
Give Us Another One crowned a new joint leader, as Aaron from Gillingham – quickly rebranded "Stinky Aaron" after revealing he's a drainage engineer – scored a perfect 10, matching the existing top scorer Mark on the Mylo and Rosie leaderboard.
The daily Team Captain honour went to Daniel, who messaged in after handing in his notice at work the day before; Mylo and Rosie agreed to crown him on the condition he adds "Team Captain of the Mylo and Rosie Show" to his CV.
