Vernon Kay, not Chris Evans…
Chappers was too exhausted to come in for Vernon's show after working with Mr Mills so Vernon's looking for a companion for his show to talk Big Brother, Fishing, Sport and various other topics. He had a barrage of texts of listeners wanting to take his place, and Chappers was on tape telling listeners what they're looking for:
People who like Girls Aloud or a song like ‘Nasty Girl’ and don’t moan about anything (cough, cough).
Vernon has taken over Your Call for the next two weeks; today's Most Wanted was 2Pac, Ghetto Gospel.
Finding a replacement for Chappers was the main talk of today's show along with a bit of discussion of Big Brother. Vernon's supporting Derek, and hating Craig. As well as that Vernon had some backstage gossip from Live8.
