Hello! Scott starts the show with that awful soundtrack to the Frosties advert. No the guy is not dead, he’s still around, and Kellogs have issued a press release, as read by the lovely Laura. According to the company the advert has been well-received and liked by the majority of their customers, and the guy in the advert is alive and well in his native South Africa.
Chappers was back on today (it’s a record for him, no technical difficulties or anything). According to Jo Whiley, Scott had been rolling about on the stage last night whilst introducing McFly. Scott says he can’t talk much about Jo as it’s in the hands of his lawyers, but he says he didn’t have more than one drink before going on stage last night. He may have been drunk after introducing McFly, but didn’t before hand. And no, he didn’t get drunk and end up at the Embassy like Jamie Foxx.
Jo Whiley’s Husband – He’s from Bosnia, didn’t you know?
Revenge is sweet… and it tastes of Frosties
Last week Scott made an on-hold game to an electrical company, as he ordered a fridge off of them. Scott’s fridge is still in the warehouse. He’s got to wait another 3 weeks, and he’s still waiting. So time for another revenge call. This time, Graham had e-mailed the show about an electrical company who were very helpful in the store, until the remote packed up, so he gave them a call, but they keep putting him on hold or telling him they’d call later. He took it back to the shop, and they said they’d call him about a replacement. Three weeks later, still no reply. Scott posed as Snowy, Jo Whiley’s “assistant” – Scott. The on-hold music was of course the already mentioned advert and then they put him through to Jo Whiley and ended up putting him through to a Butcher in Eastern Europe. Scott told the guy that he was being rude, and so she didn’t want to speak to him, and put Jo’s husband on instead. Jo’s husband was another from Bosnia. After 4 minutes 12 the guy slammed the phone down. He’s just like Nicky Campbell in some way. So expect Scott on Just The Two of Us and Wheel of Fortune sometime soon.
Lloyd the Football Expert
There was no football today, until the Germany and Argentina game tomorrow. Lloyd had a song for us today… it started with “it’s gonna be great”. He’s a Page 3 today in the Shropshire_Star, talking about inviting Paris Hilton to his school fete. His mum wasn’t particularly optimistic about it though. Today we had some questions about relationships, just like Denise off of This Morning, and a question came from a guy didn’t know what to say to this girl he fancies. This was the point Lloyd went all shy, and didn’t know what to say. Louise was on about her obsessive boyfriend, and wanted to know what to do about him; Lloyd thought she should dump him and slap him. The relationship advice wasn’t working, so tomorrow they’re reverting to talking about football. Scott suggests Lloyd should watch the Cartoon Network like most other ten-year-olds, but he says he’s different to them. Anyway, tomorrow they’re back on, and it’s back to talking balls. Several people wanted Lloyd and Gareth to team up for a podcast, I’m personally thinking bigger – like the Sunday Surgery.
Camping It Up
Yesterday Scott spoke to a girl, and had been with her boyfriend for 8 years, but found a shocking discovering whilst flicking through her boyfriend’s iPod, found Ant and Dec and Steps in amongst Green Day and the Kooks. Another girl could only find two CDs in his flat besides Barry White and Smooth Jazz. It’s a lot different to what he usually listens to when she’s around – some indie music. They’re “weapons of destruction” according to Scott.
Danny was unhappy with the new Big Brother house and his new fellow housemate

And Stalker Sayers does it again…
Today Laura got to interview Danny from McFly, as he was being interviewed by Colin and Edith with the band earlier today. Scott was unsure whether to present the listeners with another tortious Laura interview, but the majority wanted to hear it. Despite their song, in my opinion, sounding vaguely like Noel’s House Party in a way. An awfully cringeworthy interview, involving discussion of their children and her asking him to sign her breasts.
Finally, Georgina tried her best to tell us the entertainment news today, but it failed. So we scrapped the news, and got on with Your Call.
All the best bits can be found on our forum, or you can hear them on Scott’s Podcast on Radio 1 Online. A much better show than yesterday, I think you’ll agree. I’ll be back tomorrow when it’s only bley friday!
