The Weekend Gossip
Scott lost his phone in a taxi after making his way home from Norwich. His driver then rang Jo Whiley and Chappers, and probably most of his phone book talking about Scott. Scott said he enjoyed the gig at the UEA, which I was present at and am still well chuffed about, and his phone should be on the way to him. Jo Whiley was talking about this the morning, and thought it was some kind of wind-up. He's become a very popular guy recently. He features in March's FHM magazine – the one with Lisa Snowdon on the front. The girl featured absolutely loves Scott and fantasies about him a lot. The way to please her is if you talk about Scott in bed. She's so obsessed with him, yet she's not a member on the forum! Flirt Divert
On Flirt Divert today there was one classy girl throwing up down the loo, someone who'd manage to lose 'the horse', and a guy singing 'come on Eileen' (he says he has a great sense of humour). Imagine waking up to one of those messages after a night out, that's why Flirt Divert was invented. All the students had the number in their phone, 07774598750. Scott said the classy girl reminded him of Laura after a Saturday night out. As for the horse, well it has more than one meaning. I don't think he's working at a race course or anything.
Nice guys finish last…
Scott's friend was dumped at the weekend, but his theory was he was too much of a nice guy, and that's why. He believed girls like a nasty guy rather than a nice boy. It seemed to have touched a nerve with Chappers, but it seems the majority of girls like a nasty guy. "Nice guys get boring" according to one. "What's good about a nice, needy, weak guy" said another. One guy, Ian, on Your Call brought a girl 12 red roses and he was dumped afterwards. Turns out a year later she was getting a divorce from him as he was gay. Chappers agreed, as he's 'Dr Love'. Scott says he's a nice guy – always buying 'Forever Friends' bears for girls, what a charmer. I have to agree with Scott, guys do seem to be dumped for being too nice. But bad boys never stay with the girls long enough either, so you can't really win.
Your Call
Tracks on Your Call tonight include Kaiser Chiefs, Fiddy Cent, Linkin Park, Kanye West, Ice Cube, Madonna and the Ordinary Boys.
Discussion tonight on Your Call included the 'bad boy vs good boy' discussion and your first gig. One girl's first gig was Kanye West, a classy girl I guess. Much love for Scott from me and my friend Em after Madonna's song he threw in some random French and one guy told us he'd just been dumped.
Scott's Nemesis
Scott's nemesis was back today, and Scott and Chappers made a phone call to him at lunchtime and played back the results.
Scott: "Do you deliver? Okay, I'll have liver and pineapple"
Chappers: "Do you do takeaway? Okay, what's 12 takeaway 6"
One texter believed the caller was so potty-mouthed that when he answers he swears. But that's thankfully not the case, the show just censor the name of the takeaway for legal reasons.
