Emily phoned in to the show earlier after going to Radio 1’s very own Edith Bowman’s gig in Dundee last night, her friend was very pleased when he received Edith’s "number" although she didn’t tell him she was attached, he was so pleased that he rang it all last night and today, however Emily soon found out that Edith had given the famous flirt number to Emily’s friend. Chappers decided to do some investigation into Edith’s relationships status and found her profile on wikipedia as she didn’t mention to Emily’s friend that she was attached, Edith is rumoured to have been linked to Celebs such as Robbie Williams and Wayne Rooney.
On Hold Game (with a difference)
Scott had been getting many calls and emails from people who were being put on hold by a certain Credit Card company, so Scott decided to do something about it and get his own back by putting them on hold for a change. Chappers rang up this certain credit card company and wanted to open a new credit card account with them because he was getting so sick of calls from them. Chappers gave the operator false details which went like this:
"Stephenl(as in Stephen) P(as in Robert) Clarjtcrlt pronounced Clarke). 152,142,132 Heartache Avenue, Manchester"
Chappers (or Mr Clarke) needed to swap office phones so he put the operator on hold with the polyphonic version of the classic titanic theme tune “my heart will go on” Laura then picks up the phone acting as receptionist trying to reconnect the operator to a “Mr Stephen clarktcrlt” but Laura could not find him on the system. Laura wasn’t impressed and asked the operator "is this radio 1 or something?" implying that it was a joke.
Flirt Divert
Scott checked the Flirt Divert number after receiving that call from Emily about her friend who got “Edith’s number“, he did leave a message on the flirt divert number and was hoping for a trip to the Radio 1 studio’s to see Edith again. And also on the Flirt Divert tonight was a lady who was responding about a similar advert to Derk's call earlier this week could they be linked?
