When chicken meals go wrong…
Thursday Banter
Scott's wasn't feeling too today, he thought he'd mess himself between 4 and 6 o'clock as the chicken meal he had yesterday was a bit rubbish. He's off to the Student Radio awards as well tonight, great. Last night he was bored out of his mind after being stuck with his flatmate watching Lord of The Rings. The LOTR fans then were on to Scott telling us about how great it is. I agree with Scott, complete and utter crap, along with Harry Potter. But with Harry Potter I'd like to be proven wrong, I'll give you a verdict when I see the movie on Sunday. Chappers is working on the finishing touches to his fitness DVD, and is in a cupboard in Leeds (on the air, not just randomly). Meanwhile, elsewhere, Laura's looking forward to the Take That announcement tomorrow, I wonder if they'll be touring…?
"Danger! Danger! John Saltage"
It's back and this time it's personal. One guy reported seeing this catchphrase on the back of a dirty white van. Another caller was in a club playing Electric 6 where the DJ begun singing 'John Saltage' over the lyrics. Scott gave him a call this afternoon but on the first attempt got an answer phone message which included the backing music, a cheesy message and his legendary catchphrase. People began suggesting that John Saltage should re-release Electric 6's song. I'm personally thinking 'Gay Bar'.

Chris, 19, from Coventry sells adult products to young adults. He looks rather dashing in his picture, I'm sure the ladies would agree. He's single, and his ideal woman would be Rachel Stevens. His ideal man would be Johnny Depp. He's a black-belt in paper folding. Chappers suggests you keep your distance from this guy, I wonder where he got the idea from? Mother vs Daughter – Would you date both?

It's a tough choice. So yesterday we heard from a guy who was going out with both a daughter and a mother, and tonight there was much more debate on the phone about the dates. One girl was on the line saying she goes out with her mother clubbing a lot, and often if her date isn't working out with a guy she'd let her mother go out with him. Chappers and Scott both agreed this was wrong, but wanted to hear the listeners' opinions.

Scott had more chart show live tickets to give away today. Amy correctly guessed Charlotte Church's new album is called 'Tissues and Issues' and will be joining Scott on Sunday. Don't forget to catch Scott's after-party show on Radio 1 on Sunday; he'll be talking to Charlotte Church. I think she owes him a Star Phone…
Record of the Week
All this week Scott has been playing 'See the day' by Girls Aloud. It's got a rather Christmas feel to it I think. Can't be bad.
Finally, a bit of banter about the seperation of Jessica Simpson and her lover. No one was more gutted more than Radio 1's very own Zane Lowe.
Final show review of the week with David tomorrow, I thought today’s was a rather average show. Infact I don’t recall hearing much at all from Scott after six o’clock, it was just a Radio 1 promotional hour with music and the ticket giveaway.
