Morning Banter
Scott was sounding a bit tired today, as was the team – Laura was walking around talking to herself trying to find the newspapers and firstly brought the papers from the previous day, and one of the team members was looking blankly at a computer screen. Ah, another normal day at Radio 1.

Chappers hadn't spoken to Scott until the show. Chappers said it was night to be able to get out once in a while, makes a change from Meals on Wheels apparently. Only the winners appeared to be at the awards ceremony, and everything went wrong afterwards. Chappers claimed he had 'morning after gut' (it's a technical term). When Scott won Newsbeat asked Scott to tell a joke, but he passed the phone to Brucie instead. The team were complaining about the lack of food at lunch. However, the wine was apparently over £100. Chappers was nervous incase he knocked it over. Rather strange for a Loaded awards – expensive wine, and no good looking women. Afterwards Scott went to the pub, and Scott was chatting to some bloke from The Sun – looks like they're after an exclusive on Laura's Diary! Scott played a clip from the Entertainment News (well almost did) but he was sounding rather drunk. Scott refused to play it in its entirety.
Scott then had trouble trying to get home – two taxis wouldn't take him – not even Britain's funniest DJ. But when Scott eventually got home, he didn't have his keys, and had to lie on the floor waiting for his flatmate for two hours so he could get in. He arrived home at 10pm, and had a curry. Ah, success clearly hasn't gone to his head!
And here's a hair-raising discussion (comedy drum please). Scott needs a hair cut and he's come to a big decision recently – he's decided he's not going back to Darren anymore. His relationship had run it's course, and after three years it's come to an end. For the record he's talking about hair. Scott wanted some hairdressers to get in touch to try and replace Darren the hairdresser. I hear Craig off of Big Brother 6 is quite good! Emma called in and has a lot to talk about, and cuts hair. Scott made things awkward until he cut her off (no pun intended there). Chappers offered to give Scott a haircut, but he passed.

Laura's Diary
It was another day of Laura's Diary – a story of tragedy and sadness. Back on the phone was Mary, sister to Laura (apparently their parents were Scissor Sisters fans). Funny how long next day delivery takes these days isn't it! Here's a brief summary of September 20th – Laura had looked up Jamie's phone number and address in the phone book, she was hoping to see him after hockey practise on a Friday, and he wasn't returning her calls. She's hoping he likes her, her trip to Megabowl had been cancelled, and she'd just seen Quantum Leap. She seems to be talking to her diary like it's a real person.
Chappers: Sorry for rambling on? Oh something's never change do they!
And we were treated to another. We were treated to a story about her toe and finger being cut, her friend Lucy was in a mood with her, and she couldn't go to youth club because she was grounded for leaving her lamp on during daylight. She'd not seen Jamie in 3 days and she'd been thinking about him all night.
Chappers: I wanna know more about your dad… he sounds hilarious!
A lot of people now want to date Laura because she was a Quantum Leap fan. Nothing to do with the emotional diary…
Mary was back later with an extract from September 29th – Laura got her hair cut, and Jamie was 'turning his feelings off and on like a light'. She was then talking sweets about at her youth club, and Mary being annoying and ginger. Happy families, eh? Laura was one hormonal child!

It's Rate My Listener Look-alike fortnight on Radio 1. Yesterday's Rate My Listener was Will Young, with a squint of an eye you could see the resemblance. But today things had a turn for the worse. Kevin, today's listener, doesn't seem to resemble anyone. Normally people manage to guess within the first hour of the show, but there was tumbleweed passing the inbox today. Kevin eventually revealed he was mistaken for Dec off of Ant and Dec. I can't see it, neither can most people, but obviously some people can! Or they were winding him up. Me and my sister thought he looked more like Scott then anyone. Kevin is a single, chef, and is 26 years of age. Get on to Scott's page and rate him happy!

If you're going for a drink today, don't try online gambling after drinking. One of the team members did, and he lost despite thinking he was good.
Random Acts of Kindness
Emma was on the phone talking about her mum Marilyn. Three years ago she had a double knee replacement, and they went wrong and she had to remove her knee. She's now got a straight leg, and she's been struggling with life since. She's in a wheel chair, and really needs some kindness. She's single, and has no family. Emma has to drive a lot, and works a lot and Emma struggles to find the time. Emma wanted to show her mum how much she loves her, so Scott offered some help. Scott rang Marilyn, and at first she sounded confused, and after a sweet explanation from Emma (and listeners getting the tissues out) Scott told them they'd be having a weekend away together in Bath to see her friend Doreen. They're staying in a posh hotel and will be pampering themselves! Very sweet, and definitely worth a listen again!
Situations Vacant
Yesterday Chappers and Scott were looking for spies for an Eastern European government. The thing was today it went a bit wrong… Yesterday they got a message in Russian. They weren't aware of what was in the message, and it turns out his phone number has now been broadcasted on Radio 1. Now he'll have a load of fans from Radio 1 calling him. Woops. One texter claims he was after the Swedish volley-ball team coach job. A translator was on the phone talking about helping out those that put the advert in – nothing pervy or scary. A Russian friend of the callers' is a DJ in Moscow and was doing something similar recruiting UK spies. She didn't give a response when Scott told her he loved her.
And… Carpark Price is Right
Day 4 of Carpark Price is Right – a unique radio feature, nothing like anything you've heard before.
Brucie: "I think today's show has been rubbish, absolute rubbish"
Today's contestants were Dave and Karen. Brucie's friends today were Mike Rotch and Ginger Bullocks. Karen didn't have a horn, as she's not in a car. Up for grabs today was an extending window cleaner, a 4-hole egg poacher, and a smoke machine (Brucie has one of those!). Some very hilarious voice-overs today, and another successful day of Carpark Price is Right.
