Scott started off today’s show in a happy mood and then proceeded to play the lovely hit, push the button, by those delightful young ladies the sugababes. Oh except the munter one.
Scott had some gossip about Chappers and who he went home with from the Mercury Music prize awards on Tuesday night. Lots of people are guessing. Some of the possibilities suggested were Will Young, Elton John and some woman off of wife swap. Someone else guessed David Walliams, then someone guessed correctly and it was Abi Titmuss! He was introduced to her and started to chat to her, but he wasn’t telling Scott all the details. Scott said he didn’t want to watch a DVD later and see Chappers hairy arse! Chappers says he was right that he tipped Anthony and the Johnsons to win the mercury’s so he was great.

Today’s rate my listener was Marcus. He was posh, and was on the side of a mountain. Next week is uniform week and Scott is scared that he is going to get people sending in some rather strange pictures!
Trying to get on Crimewatch
Scots campaign to get on crimewatch continued. He rung the producers and tried to convince them to let him appear as a robber. “Imagine me with a stocking over my head and a sawn off shot gun!” said Scott. “Get down on the floor” he added in the style of a thug. Scott was also up for getting Chappers onto crimewatch. The producer said that Chappers could be a witness, and probably with some dodgy accent. “Get down on the floor!” Various people then offered to make fake beards and donate stockings etc for their appearance. Scott basically begged the Crimewatch team to let him on. This part of the show was quite funny until it was ruined by the new Robbie Williams track. Utter bilge that song. Scott made up for this error by playing some hard-fi.

Today on your call listeners could request any song except National Express by The Divine Comedy. Some of the songs requested by the listeners included Under the Bridge by Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Ghetto Gospel by Tupac, Wish I by the lovely Jem, and Don’t tell me by Madonna and The Importance of Being Idol by Oasis. Then Ben the landscape gardener requested Your Missus is a Nutter by GLC. At this point I got mad! Scott was trying to get Ben in there with Laura. HOW DARE HE!!! Also someone reported a man who has been posing as Vernon Kays brother. Scandalous! She requested Franz Ferdinand. The most requested song was Don’t Cha by Pussycat Dolls. Hmmm pussycat dolls (especially the one in the hat at the end!)
Vernon’s Brother Busted
During your call a caller said that someone was pretending to be Vernon’s brother in order to pull the ladies. Scott got the number from her and decided to call up this guy. Scott rang up and said he was Bob Chapman from poundsaver! He said he got the number from the woman and asked him if Vernon would switch the lights on in the highstreet. The bloke made some excuses saying he would be busy. At this point the bloke sounded quite genuine. Then Scott passed the bloke over to Vernon! Hilarious! Vernon asked what type of food he liked. “Err crisps” said the man! The bloke got busted when he asked how many brothers he had and he said 3. Vernon only has one brother.
