Well whilst I was out at a local carnival, here's what's been happening on the Scott Mills on Wednesday 17th August:
It's half way through the week, and Scott spent the day sorting out his life – making appointments, sorting out bills, and various other tasks which isn't normal for him. Chappers was completely the opposite and couldn't be arsed to do anything but would like to make it clear he was prepared to do the show. Scott and Chappers saw a show about Britney Spears last night, and Grandpa Spears threatened to shoot the production team for waiting outside their homes. And Scott had an e-mail off of a friend in Ibiza, and there was a guy in red-shorts and was backstage in the Radio 1 tent – pretending to be Scott.
Tomorrow morning Scott's on television from 7am opening A-Level results, plugging the One Life exam number (good person to pick!). Chappers is still pleading for a 'thank you' reply from Natasha for a wedding gift, and wanted Scott to ask Natasha where we can find her wedding gift list.
And the female phone discussion continues – Scott had a caller who had one of these Samsung phones. The caller argued that it could be for men as pink is the new black. Chappers thinks that this phone should be for both sexes, and Chappers is still going to be sticking by his promise that he'll replace his phone with his model.

Scott was in a generous mood again today, he had another Random Act of Kindness. Scott had a call from a girl called Sarah about her daughter called Becky. She's 12, and she has a younger sister who's autisitc and is only 8. She has had a rough time over the past few years, and took the parent's divorce quite hard. She doesn't see her dad any more and has been through a lot, and has had a lot of difficulty at school. Becky's sister and mother was offered a trip by a charity to Euro Disney, but couldn't go, but said both of them could go – even though she missed out. Her dream was to go to Euro Disney and see the castles. Scott called up her landline and Becky answered. Scott sorted it so that Becky could go to the Chester store and pick something out, before saying that she could go to Euro Disney and stay in a hotel, and see all of the attractions along with her mum and her sister Katie too. Your Call
Tonight you could hear anything on Your Call for 45 minutes – apart from Denise and Johnny's 'Especially for You'. Tracks included 'Bucket Head', 'The Bravery', 'Usher' and 'Basement Jaxx'. Tonight's 'Most Wanted' track was Gorrilaz and 'Dare'.
Pop Group or Loop the Loop?
Another day of the feature where one lucky caller could win some tickets to see McFly and meet them in person at Alton Towers at the end of the week. Today's caller was Mica from London. Once again she was given five names and had to decide whether they were bands or theme park rides. She needed to get four to be in for a chance. Mica scored five out of five, ruling out Sarah-Jane winning the prize.
Laura and Scott were talking about hair removal techniques today – Hollywood and Brazillians – but Chappers didn't want to know. The other night the team were having a drink, and were discussing the Lottery. Laura begun mentioning Premium Bonds, before getting on to the topic of the advert for Premium Bonds which stars Alan Sugar. Scott was stereotyping saying it was something that grandmothers do. Scott and Chappers want to know what the catch is as all of the team want to put in £20 each. I've got a £20 premium bond somewhere which I've had since I was a very young child, and it's still there, but as far as I know I've won nothing. Heard of a few (over 60) winners though who live near by. Scott then had some callers about them – one caller hadn't won anything in 28 years, another had won £100 in 25 years (with a grandad who has 48 grands worth!) and one of Huw Stephen's team has invested in them too.
