Alrite Treacle? It's Monday, and it's another week of reviews. Just two more weeks until Scott goes away to top up his tan, but until then I'm sure we're guaranteed some great shows.
Scott thanked the people of a place in Northern Ireland for Saturday night. He spent the show milking his arm injury. During Your Call Scott revealed that he was bitten by a girl and from what we heard he was very angry. Some people suggested he should get himself checked out with a nurse or doctor.
Rate Them Happy
Scott was actually aware that England had won the cricket this weekend but anyway, when Chappers isn't writing sports news, Chappers is looking through the Rate My Swimwear people. They're running out of people for this feature – [email protected] if you want to send in your photograph.
Today's Rate My Swimwear person was E-jae who's hiding behind her rather beautiful bush. Get on to the Radio 1 online website and rate her happy! Friday's Rate My Listener – Joseph was rated minging. Perhaps it was the David Brent pose.
One Life Exam Results
So exam results day isn't far away. I'm waiting on mine, and if you didn't quite understand the trail and want to discuss your exam results with someone go here_for_the_OneLife_website.
Batting for the other side
Tom was a bit 'dumb-founded' about his partner who said she wants to sleep with Natalie Imbruglia. He'd been discussing which celebrities he'd sleep with. Scott wanted to know if you were to be a 'lord' for the day, who would you sleep with. Chappers said he'd sleep with David Beckham because he likes girls who are smooth and have breasts. But he said for the same reason he could sleep with Moyles. Suggestions then included Angelina Jolie, Natasha Bedingfield and apparently a few Jimmy Crankys. Some girl would spend a night with Lindsay Lohan as she has a thing for gingers. There weren't many boys suggestion much, although there was one suggestion of Keith Chegwin. Newsreader George suggested Fearne Britton, but then changed her mind and suggested Angelina Jolie.
Big Brother
Scott still wants Craig out, thank goodness he agrees. Although he also thinks that Eugene will be dead in another day through malnutrition as Kinga seems to be eating everything. Scott wants Craig out before Kinga, but I'm hoping there'll be a double eviction on Wednesday.
Flirt Divert
Flirt Divert UK was back again today – 0777 459 875 0. The first message there was a message for Laura from a guy who was belching a lot and missing her.
Chappers: "What a catch he would be…"
And the second message was a charmer saying 'we'd both put on a bit of weight' and another was an angry guy who had waited in the bar for quite a while and she didn't turn up. Finally there was a girl who'd obviously met a guy online and had a nice meal, but didn't realise the guy was ginger. Apparently that doesn't float her boat.
Photograph from the CBBC Newsround website…
And International Flirt Divert made a return too – 07770 758 749. Use this number when you're on your holidays (by which I mean outside the UK, don't use it if you're in Bognor Regis or wherever). One guy thinks he's just got lucky as a fit girl has just sailed a paper plane into his balcony and it had the Flirt Divert number on it. Apparently girls don't throw well according to Chappers (and they can't fold a paper aeroplane either according to a caller). One girl wants to know why the guy hasn't turned up at her house as he made an escape to the off-license. And finally, one group of girls were about to play strip poker and were sounding very drunk. It's a good job that guy got out when he did…
West Ham back in their red kits…
A Game of Two Halves
Looks like there was actually quite a bit of thought for the title of this feature…
Chappers: "This must be a football feature then… Did someone place this on a Casio organ?"
Yes, the bed was the remixed Match of The Day theme. Scott was shocked that you could get West Ham curtains. Producer Emlyn is apparently a fan of West Ham. Anyway, moving on to the feature, basically the game is that there's one question, which is split in two halves. One part of the question is announced by Moyles, and the second is announced on the Mills show. If you won you could get some Premiership football tickets and some football merchandise.
Moans on text: "Mills you probably don't even know what colour the West Ham colours are"
Chappers: "Course you do…"
Mills: "Do I?"
Chappers: "Yeah… Go on then…"
Mills: "Red?"
Chappers: "Yeah that's right….."
The tickets were won by a father and son, going for a bit of football bonding.
Scott's New Favourite Show
Scott's favourite television show is one which has been axed. Shows how good that one was. Rock Around the Block, presented by Neil Fox, was given the chop last week. So this feature was pretty pointless considering it's not being shown anymore. Don't worry Scott, I'm sure it'll show up on ITV 2, 3 or 4 (when it arrives in a few months). Basically the show was basically two families fighting it out in a karaoke-style singing challenge. I would personally rate this show R for Rrrrubbbiiissshhhh.
Your Call
Tonight in Your Call Scott said he'd play anything, apart from 'Sweets for My Sweet' by CJ Lewis. Tracks from the Magic Numbers, The Killers, 2Pac, Mattafix and Charlotte Church. One text that apparently wouldn't make the Most Wanted was 'Unchained Melody' by Robson and Jerome. It was infact James Blunt's 'Your Beautiful'.
Pretty good show today, and there's more tomorrow! Don't forget to tune in from 4pm till 7pm, and I think they're finally going on-air in America too.
