Happy Friday and happy weekend to you! Yes, that’s right – happy weekend! The weekend now officially* starts on a Friday thanks to our good friends at Radio 1. Our trusty DJs at Radio 1 will be doing summery things every Friday to cheer us up ahead of the weekend and this week Colin and Edith went to St.Andrews in Scotland after Scott and the team went to Mallorca and Moyles and co stayed on a canal boat. On top of all that, throughout the day summery tunes will be played into our directly into our ear-holes!
To celebrate the legend that is Roy Walker’s birthday and Radio 1’s Summer Friday Thing, Aled off of Moyles went around the streets of Blackpool (where Roy lives) and gave out special Roy Walker is a legend t-shirts! If you have one of those t-shirts, please put it up for bidding on eBay as I want one.
*Please note that the weekend doesn’t officially start on a Friday and is just Radio 1’s nice little feature.
Overall, it’s been a fairly quiet week and you can check out the reviews of the shows down this page. Scott was off Wednesday and Thursday due to woman’s problems but Vernon Kay and Spoony did an admirable job in covering with Chappers. Well actually he had a bad tummy after a night out with Tuesday’s Rate My Swimwear – Jessica from Northallerton.
However, Scott banished all rumours claiming he took her up the bongo in his first link of the show.
A member of the Mills team who doesn’t speak is off today as is taking a girl to an amusement park to take her up the log-flume and win her a cuddly toy.
Scott continued his disliking of Craig from Big Brother
