Scott left Chris Moyles’ morning slot with a bang on Friday and hosted the show from Magalluf’s Fiesta Jungla in Mallorca as part of Radio 1’s Summer Friday Thing. Radio 1 are extending the weekend by bringing you shows from Mallorca on Friday and through the weekend. Scott was broadcasting from a straw pagoda/gazebo! Westwood also joined the party later on.
Scott had to move from his isle seat on the flight from Stansted yesterday to the window and was even approached by a woman asking for a picture so she could win a £200 prize from Heat Magazine!
Chappers pegged along also with his bathers that have extra ventilation (G’Mornin) and Mallorca’s finest export, DJ Sammy, was also there by the pool and indeed a water feature to speak to Scott and co. Chappers and Emlyn off of the show hit a few clubs on their own last night whilst Scott and Sammy stuck together until around 1:30am. Sammy was complaining about the amount of food Scott consumed!
Listeners also got the chance to choose a song from a selection of summer tunes, which included Mousse T and Blur.

Messages included a guy offering a girl called Alison for another evening at Costa Del Mike! Another girl apologised for eating too much of a fish dish, Simon forgot who left him the number and another munter left a message from a pool.
What’s in the case?!
Instead of the new breakfast feature, Your Home is at Risk, Scott is gave Alex, someone from by the pool, the chance to win an unclaimed suitcase from the airport conveyor belt. Items inside the case were a stinky yellow t-shirt, dirty knickers, a sarong, a Star Wars Return of the Jedi DVD, jeans, a camera on a key ring, lacy pink knickers, Troy on DVD and 2 bikinis.
DJ Sammy fished out these items with special gloves for Alex.
Rate Them Happy
Today saw Jodie from Liverpool, who was by the Fiesta Jungla pool with Scott, parade her swimwear and interesting tattoo. Go to Scott’s Radio 1 Pages to rate her happy.
She was having a beer and a fag when she spoke to Chappers and has been working in Magaluf for 3 months. She doesn’t like Mancs and her ideal man would be Phrarrell Williams and woman would be Angelina Jolene. 34B is her bra size. Sammy thinks she’s a real flower power lady!
