Chris and The Beast performed Fresh Prince
Chris had spent the previous night in Portsmouth with Mark Labbett from The Chase.
The appearance mostly involved photographs with fans, but Chris also tried to persuade The Beast to do something musical. Labbett rejected the suggestion of Nicki Minaj and instead joined in with the theme from The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.
Chris also gave him a very basic lesson in DJing.
“Little Bit Leave It” divided the show
Kem Cetinay and Chris Hughes had released “Little Bit Leave It” after Love Island and the song was climbing download charts quickly enough to have a realistic chance of entering the Official Chart.
Scott and Chris thought the production sounded genuinely strong, but struggled with lyrics such as Kem announcing that he was “five foot 10”.
The track sounded polished enough to work while still containing exactly the kind of nonsense they expected from the pair.
The goodbye was longer than the message
Scott then exposed one of Chris’s habits by replaying a voicemail.
Chris had finished saying everything useful, but rather than simply hanging up he spent the final section repeatedly saying goodbye: “bye, bye, bye” for what felt like an age.
Scott asked him to stop giving every voicemail such a prolonged farewell and just end the call.
The programme also continued the previous day’s conversation about secret celebrity lists and heard some unexpectedly frank stories about what people did in bathrooms.
