A lunch divides Scott and Chris
Chris returns with a pasta-heavy lunch for Scott, who is trying to eat more salad and immediately complains that the meal will make him sleepy. Chris points out the broccoli and accuses Scott of becoming showbiz now that their old lunches no longer meet his standards.
Attention then turns to the next day’s interview with Will Smith and Margot Robbie. Scott wants both of them in suits for the occasion and repeatedly stresses the scale of the booking, while Chris wonders whether the formality is becoming excessive.
Hollyoaks supplies its own clips
Anna Passey, who plays Sienna Blake, and Daisy Wood-Davis, who plays Kim Butterfield, take their places opposite Chris for Innuendo Bingo. Clips arrive from The Job Interview, Antiques Roadshow, Olympic discussion, Flog It! and The One Show, including a figurine with her hands in a muff and Isla Fisher refusing to hold balls without gloves.
Hollyoaks also contributes material from its own archive, including a misunderstanding about being fingered over a missing collection box and a threat involving a “chocolate star”. With two guests spraying at once, Chris becomes the obvious target and finishes much wetter than either actor.
Bangers settles the week early
Listener Lucy chooses between Chris’s Young Money track “BedRock” and Scott’s Ne-Yo choice “Beautiful Monster”. She gives the point to Scott, who moves far enough ahead to secure the week before Friday.
The programme also hears a listener’s embarrassing YouTube confession and looks at The Job Interview, where candidates’ supposedly reassuring conversations can turn into unexpectedly difficult questions. By the close, however, almost everything is preparation for the arrival of Will Smith and Margot Robbie.
