Paddy faced another 68 miles after completing 67 on the opening day.
The route took him north towards Lancaster and Kendal.
Scott followed the challenge through Radio 2’s live tracker as supporters gathered beside the road.
Paddy was already dealing with significant soreness and a blister, but continued despite the worsening discomfort.
Agadoo at 100 miles
Sara Cox had decreed that Paddy should hear Black Lace every 50 miles as a motivational reward.
As he approached 100 of the planned 300 miles, Scott accepted that he was contractually and morally obliged to play Agadoo.
The song marked the first major landmark of the week.
Donations double
The Hunter Foundation announced that it would match public donations pound for pound up to a major limit.
Scott explained that a £5 donation would therefore become £10 and a £50 contribution would become £100.
Listeners responded with donations linked to Paddy’s mileage, including £100 to mark his 100th mile.
The Birthday Game: Georgina
Georgina from Sunbury-on-Thames turned 50.
She had been a Rick Astley fan since the age of 12 and owned several miniature “Brick Astley” figures in her car.
Her colleagues had bought another one as a birthday present.
Georgina wanted Rick, Taylor Swift or broadly 1980s music.
Her first spin was Enya’s Orinoco Flow.
She rejected it because her husband Peter strongly disliked the song.
The second was Chicago’s If You Leave Me Now.
Georgina liked it but gambled again.
Her compulsory final song was JLS’s Everybody in Love, number one in 2009.
She accepted it because her son had loved JLS as a child.
Handover
Scott handed over after Paddy crossed the 100-mile mark and Georgina joined the Three Spin Club.
