Stressful tourist attractions
Scott worked through a list of the world’s most stressful tourist traps.
The examples included Marrakech’s main square, the Colosseum, the Louvre, the Hollywood Walk of Fame, Las Ramblas, the Eiffel Tower and Times Square.
He agreed with Times Square taking the top spot because of the crowds, noise and constant pressure to keep moving.
Listeners added Venice, Edinburgh’s Royal Mile, Hyde Park Winter Wonderland, the Great Wall of China and Leicester Square.
The Birthday Game: Kate
Kate from Castle Donington turned 45 shortly after returning from her first holiday in Ibiza.
She had seen Calvin Harris and visited O Beach, while Scott remembered the noisy poolside fitness session taking place when the team first called her.
Kate wanted Billy Ocean or country music.
Her first spin was Charles Aznavour’s She. She rejected it as too slow.
The second was Oasis’s D’You Know What I Mean? Kate admitted she was not a major Oasis fan and gambled again.
Her compulsory final song was the Specials’ Ghost Town, number one in 1981.
Kate said she would not have selected any of the three herself, but accepted the Specials as the final result.
