Scott broadcast from Malmö on the eve of the Eurovision final.
He and Rylan reflected on the semi-finals, the atmosphere in the arena and the countries attracting the strongest reactions.
Rylan managed to spill water over himself while recreating the dramatic turn used in Eurovision’s artist postcards.
Scott also reviewed the Radio 2 sweepstake and the fortunes of presenters whose countries had qualified.

The UK entrant had completed another rehearsal of Dizzy.
Scott and Rylan discussed the staging, the pressure of performing as the host broadcaster’s automatic finalist and the support arriving from listeners at home.
The Birthday Game: Ginny
Ginny from Nottinghamshire turned 51.
She had once worked as a Pontins bluecoat and later fronted a six-piece covers band with her husband Martin on keyboards.
Their set concentrated on disco and dance-floor favourites from Chic, Sister Sledge, Diana Ross and Stevie Wonder.
Her first spin was Spandau Ballet’s True. Ginny liked it but wanted something more energetic.
The second was Louis Armstrong’s What a Wonderful World. She rejected that too.
Her compulsory final song was KWS’s version of Please Don’t Go, number one in 1992.
The Nottingham connection and university memories made it a successful final spin.
Eurovision Wonder Years
The Friday Wonder Years became an all-Eurovision edition.
Scott moved through past contests and entries before the grand final.
Handover
Scott handed over after urging listeners to join Radio 2 and BBC One for the final.
