He correctly identifies the fish samples and surprisingly enjoys the gourmet cat tuna most — so much so that listeners text in saying they might buy it for themselves. The meat round proves less successful; he dislikes the fancy duck pâté and prefers the ordinary chicken and duck cat food, which he asks for more of.
The episode also covers Greg James’s live on-air wake-up call to Konnie Huq at 5:40 a.m., after she approached him desperately at an event asking for a job. The call captures her groggy and slightly embarrassed, but the team finds it amusing that she’s clearly trying to use the situation to network her way into Radio 1 employment.
