Taylor’s new album
Taylor Swift released The Tortured Poets Department and then surprised fans by expanding it into a 31-song double album.
Scott played Fortnight, the collaboration with Post Malone, and encouraged listeners to spend the weekend exploring the full release.
Fans immediately began analysing lyrics, locations and possible references.
The Black Dog
Listeners debated which pub Taylor meant in The Black Dog.
Many assumed it referred to a London venue, while others pointed out that pubs with the same name existed in several towns and even in the United States.
Scott joked that Taylor might simply have visited Grantham.
The Birthday Game: Emma
Emma from Worcestershire turned 50.
Her husband had nominated her and described her as somebody who always put other people first.
She planned a family barbecue and Sunday lunch and hoped the unpredictable British weather would cooperate.
Emma had been a Bros fan, complete with bottle tops and neckerchiefs, and also liked Kylie, Jason Donovan, Ed Sheeran and McFly.
Her first spin was Paul McCartney and Stevie Wonder’s Ebony and Ivory. Emma rejected it.
The second was Wiz Khalifa featuring Charlie Puth with See You Again. She liked it but decided to use the final spin.
Her compulsory third song was Take That’s Back for Good.
Emma described it as one of the group’s best records and was pleased with the result.

Earlier in the afternoon, Rylan and charisma coach Sally-Anne Smith discussed the value of eye contact, positive energy and speaking to people properly.
Callers working in hospitality said the pandemic had left some younger staff less comfortable with face-to-face interaction.
