Bobby Pryor returned to identify listeners’ first cars through a mixture of practical and apparently unrelated questions.
Mark had passed his test in 1987 and had been given his mother’s car.
Bobby asked whether he had suffered heartbreak, whether the car contained a cassette, whether he was double-jointed or left-handed and what exciting thing he had seen from his kitchen window.
After learning that the car had square lights, Bobby correctly identified a Mark II Ford Escort.
She went further and guessed bronze, although Mark’s car had actually been white.
Listeners described the result as witchcraft and asked whether she could also predict lottery numbers.
The Birthday Game: Joanne
Joanne from Rutland turned 50.
Scott called just after she had been to the toilet, prompting an unusually direct opening to the feature.
Joanne had loved The Rocky Horror Picture Show since finding a 50p video in a Woolworths bargain bucket as a teenager.
She belonged to the UK fan club and regularly met fellow fans around the country.
At school, Joanne had attended five-pence lunchtime discos and sometimes copied the entry stamp onto her hand with biro.
Her first spin was Westlife’s If I Let You Go. She rejected it immediately.
The second was David Bowie’s Ashes to Ashes.
Joanne kept it because she had once taped a Bowie concert from the radio onto a small cassette recorder and played it repeatedly.
She received the birthday balloon without needing a third spin.

The short clue continued to attract competing suggestions, with no clear consensus among listeners.
