Neighbours face one another
Seth Rogen and Chloë Grace Moretz discussed Bad Neighbours 2, in which a newly formed sorority threatens the sale of Seth’s character’s house. Seth explained the American escrow period at the centre of the story, while Chloë said she was much quieter as a real neighbour than her character suggested.
They then sat opposite one another in a darkened room for the second edition of Playground Insults. Chloë mocked Seth’s boots, beard, glasses and “swacket”, her name for his sweater-jacket. Seth responded with increasingly elaborate claims about her clothes and personal habits. Both repeatedly broke into laughter, but the game continued until neither had a sensible route back from the final exchange.
Scott and Chris regarded the simplicity of two stars insulting each other as the feature’s strength. A listener even suggested combining it with Innuendo Bingo, an idea Scott immediately wrote down.
Nick finally gets his answer
The search for Nick’s unidentified dance song had generated hundreds of messages overnight. Scott tried calling Avicii, whose memorable ringtone played without an answer, before passing Nick directly to Danny Howard.
Danny listened to Nick sing the melody and identified it as Mauro Picotto’s “Komodo (Save a Soul)”, possibly heard in a newer mash-up with Hardwell and MAKJ’s “Countdown”. He and Nick sang enough of the tune together to confirm the match. The relief was slightly reduced when Nick immediately asked about another song, but Scott ended the call before a second investigation could begin.
The Rock and Robbie Savage
Robbie Savage played Real or No Real, beginning with the claim that Dwayne Johnson destroyed a new alarm clock every morning. Battle of the Bangers continued, while reaction to Playground Insults spread well beyond the programme. Scott was pleased with the video but regretted studying its comments, where viewers had become unusually interested in a patch of toothpaste foam beside his mouth.
