Chris becomes an adult baby
Chris continued his campaign to join Scott’s new band by ringing Scott’s flatmate as Malcolm Butter, an adult baby with a phone, a dressing gown and a very dubious CV. He claimed former membership of the Foo Fighters and B*Witched, then tried to sell the flatmate on band names including Memory Glands.
The calls became more desperate as the flatmate kept politely ending them. On the third call Chris suddenly announced, “I’m an adult baby,” a phrase that gave the show a new way to tease him and finally exhausted the flatmate’s patience after five attempts.
Elsewhere, Beccy’s phone-made recording of Baby impressed Scott, and the team played Word Dissociation, in which every new word had to be unconnected to the one before. Their disagreements over links such as cheese cocktail, hair and ring made the supposedly simple game wonderfully impossible to judge.
