21 June 2007: Anthea Turner Tours Scott’s Bedroom

As part of the “My Name is Scott” karma-busting feature, TV’s Anthea Turner and Laura infiltrate Scott’s bedroom to conduct a humiliating home inspection, opening drawers and cupboards for every wrong answer Scott gives in a perfect housewife quiz.

The episode centres on Scott’s accumulated bad karma from the “My Name is Scott” feature, inspired by the TV series *You’re You’re You’re You’re You’re*, where Scott has wronged various people over the years. Previous victim Casualty actor was subjected to waterbomb attacks; this week, Scott faces Anthea Turner—host of *Perfect Housewife*—who invades his bedroom armed with five rapid-fire questions about domestic excellence.

The quiz format is brutally simple: for each wrong answer, Anthea and Laura open another drawer or cupboard, publicly cataloguing the contents. Scott’s bedroom proves comprehensively chaotic: an unmade bed surrounded by pizza boxes, dirty washing, a mysteriously acquired trouser press (stolen from a hotel, he admits), and scattered copies of *News of the World*. The bedside cabinets yield progressively embarrassing discoveries—approximately forty boxes of condoms stacked in one drawer, Arabic language learning books, Prada sunglasses, chocolate body paint (used, Anthea notes), and an unexplained “pleasure gel” that Scott insists he doesn’t know the purpose of (it’s a mint-tingly intimate product, a caller helpfully explains).

Scott manages one correct answer—that you iron a shirt collar first—but fails spectacularly on questions about mattress vacuuming frequency, limescale removal (vinegar, not bicarbonate of soda), and cheese serving order. The climactic wardrobe reveal proves the most uncomfortable: among fancy dress costumes lurks what Anthea identifies as Nazi regalia—specifically, a costume Scott claims he’s wearing for a *Sound of Music* themed event, where he’s apparently singing along. The revelation leaves even the usually unshockable show team stunned, with Scott eager for his visitors to leave.

The feature brilliantly weaponises Anthea’s lifestyle expertise against Scott’s chaotic bachelor existence.
