Scott is enthusiastic about Sunset Tan, a fly-on-the-wall reality show following a trendy LA tanning salon where celebrities like Lindsay Lohan and Paris Hilton get their spray tans. The show will debut in the UK on E! in early July. Scott recounts several wild moments from the American version, including one episode where a mother brings her eight-year-old daughter in for a tan ahead of a school photo, with the girl specifically requesting “the Lindsay Lohan special.”
But the real highlight comes when the salon’s spray-tan technicians Molly and Holly are dispatched to a morgue to spray-tan a deceased former TV broadcaster named Franklin. When they arrive and realize where they are, their horrified reactions are priceless. One of the girls comes up with a brilliant solution to the grim situation: “Just give me a bucket and I’ll dip a minute,” she suggests, unable to face spraying down an actual corpse. Scott finds the whole thing hilarious and genuinely considers having himself spray-tanned after death for his own funeral viewing — pointing out that if people are going to file past your coffin, you might as well look good.
Scott also discusses his hatred of musicals with the team, mentioning that his mum is visiting and wants him to go to a “Sing Along Sound of Music” event in London, where audiences dress up and participate.
