I’m A Celebrity – Get Me On The Air!
Because its bank holiday, Radio 1 decided to celebrate it in style of I’m A Celebrity – Get Me On The Air! Over the course of the day each DJ has had 3 celebrity guests in to help them present the show. Guests have included Ricky off of the Kaiser Chiefs, Ricky Gervais, Kiefer Sutherland, Davina McCall, Corey Haim and many more – pictures can be found at Radio 1 Online.
So who’s Scott got in?
Lorraine Kelly
The lovely Lorraine Kelly joined Scott in the first hour of today’s show and was chatting to Scott about her best and worst interviews with celebrities.
Scott brought up the subject of Laura and her interview with Hilary Duff, Lorraine cringed when she heard what happened.
Meal or No Meal
Chopper is happy today because he’s allowed to play his famous game for one day only, and its not going to be as rubbish as it was on Big Brother last night! Same rules apply both Lorraine and Scott will be blind-folded, and there are 4 cans to choose from. One will have dog food in and the other 3 with have much nicer things such as Baked Beans, Soup, and Spaghetti Bolognese. And the winner was Lorraine.
Dick and Dom
Go Go Dick and Dom and Scotty Mills
Today’s second guests on the show were Dick and Dom off of Dick and Dom in Da Bungalow (well they‘ve been evicted now). They’ve even compiled their own jingles especially for today’s show (you can hear them on the sound clips forum). According to Dick and Dom Scott has turned down many opportunities to appear on their show compared to Coxy and Moyles who have both appeared on the show.
Dick’s Diary
Following on from Laura’s diary, Dom told Scott that he had found Dick’s diary in the bungalow and was wondering if he would be able to read it out on air. So he did. (I’ve done my best to remember everything that was said)
1st Edition
“Today was a top day, I got up did a poo which looked like an otter put in a shoe box so I took it down to the Police station for an anaylsis, I carried it home with my trousers rolled down skipping like a sailor Ever since watching Pirates of the Caribbean I act like a sailor in public and I also put salt in my bath so if people lick my arms I taste of the sea. I spent my evening in bins looking for celebrity magazines and made a big tent out of them, I invited tramps and Hobo’s in and we looked at pictures of celebrities such as David Blaine. We went to sleep dreaming of hanging out with famous people and I woke up half an hour later with my wallet gone.”
2nd Edition
“I got up late watched Jeremy Kyle and made myself some new contact lenses by cutting out discs out of cling film, I realised I didn’t wear contact lenses when I fell down stairs and banged my head I bought some trout and started blowing into it to make it alive I wondered if I could raise the fish by CPR. I bought 50 bags of Chicken nuggets and picked apart each one and made it into a large chicken.”
Bogies
Following on from Dick and Dom’s famous game of Bogies which has been repeated round school classrooms around the country (like mine) when they’re bored of sitting in silence, Dick and Dom decided to play it with Laura in the Pub next to Radio 1. Laura, Dick and Dom all started off quietly until Laura got out her megaphone and thought she had won until unfortunately Dom won. Thanks to Scott for the mention!
Crying Game
Dick and Dom both thought that they could make Chappers cry. They both stood up in front of Chappers and took their shoes, belt and finally trousers off until they were naked. Poor Scott was hiding under the desk in embarrassment and they succeeded in making Chappers blush… just a bit.
Mystery Guest
Mystery Guest number 3 still hadn’t been confirmed by 5pm because Scott and the team weren’t sure whether they would make it out of jail today. Guesses on the Forum included Nick Cotton off of Eastenders and Akon who wrote his Jail song “Locked up”.
At 6pm Scott announced that he had been in touch with this person’s people and was informed that the final guest hadn’t made it out of prison in time. The final guest was going to be Michael Carroll, the famous King of Chavs lottery winner who’s in prison at the moment. Thankfully Dick and Dom were on hand to help Scott through the last hour of the show.
