Seems like the Mirror had this story ready to go and BBC made them hold it for a bit while they investigated. I'm thinking BBC wanted to just suspend Scott but fired him under pressure. Hope it doesn't come back to bite them It was on their website before any new outlet had it. Someone in BBC has obviously leaked the email this morning too

@GeekTalk51 surely r1 bosses must realise drive time show doesn't work. 1 show in a year with 3 three of them in is embarrassing. Sam and Danni have done that show more than the main lineup

I switched to 2 fully when Scott started Breakfast but had dabbled with Sara and Vernon for while as the music on 1 was becoming terrible and 2 offers a wider range I've found recently the playlists between the 2 are getting closer and there's a lot of stuff on 2 now that should only be on 1. I do wonder where the cutoff from artists is as Robbie Williams would almost be exclusive to 2 now but had a live lounge recently Certain artists like Lewis Capaldi, Adele, Coldplay work for both stations but other musicians don't mix too well

Mollie and Katie will end up at Heart. Rickie and Melvin will end up on the R2 extension. Charlie on capital Dance. I can't see any presenters heading to r2 anytime soon. Greg I think will take a break from radio completely after his stint on breakfast and then maybe take over as R1 controller after Matt who replaces Aled. Sian Eleri I can see as a weekend R2 host

I do wonder if Greg is thinking of moving on. He's nearer the end of his run and mills will definitely lose Greg listeners

Don't think I've ever heard Trevor do a daytime show. Doesn't add up with Rylan, Adele, Grimmy, OJ, Spoony all having covered days recently
