I prefer Gregs version. It held the tension better.
And I agree with the above. I'll give him chance to get into it though.

Really like Matt and Mollie, they work so well together. Quite liked "Mollie in the mix" at the end of the show.

Didn't get to hear all of the chart, but from what I did hear it was very good. He sounds so enthusiastic about it and the format is good. I wonder how long it'll be before it reverts to the same old chart that Greg was doing every week, without any of the celebrity phone calls. The new imaging is ok, I like that they've kept hints of the previous one but I don't think its quite as good. Also, it looks like Greg retains the Chart Update on Mondays as well!
From what I heard of Dance Anthems, that was sounding good too! He referenced that it was good to be back doing the show (although under a different name).

Glad to hear that Greg is back on the chart for what could be his last chart show? Depends when in June the new Friday schedule comes into play.

I was thinking the same. It would be a shame for him not to have a final chart & dance anthems show, especially since that would also be the end of Dance Anthems on a Friday as well. He's mentioned it on air a couple of times recently, saying things like "I'm your man for all things chart! Until June, then they're axing me" and just yesterday, he said they were sacking him from the chart! All in jest I'm sure.

well they have different openers but normally they have for each day one opener which they use on other days also in the show but not at the start of the show. So if I'm talking about the Monday-Opener I mean the one which is used on Mondays at 6:30 AM. Still searching the friday-one btw...

Now that the changes have been announced, perhaps they want to keep Scott off the chart until he officially takes over. He'll probably have some new imaging to play with too, which will be a shame as I like the current chart imaging.

Jordan North is in for Greg this Friday for the chart and dance anthems. MistaJam must be busy!

Mixed feelings about these changes. I'm pleased that the chart now takes the full 4-7pm slot, but I'm certainly going to miss Fridays dance anthems. I thought that show was a great start to the weekend. I suppose that part of the reason for the chart change is as a result of Greg's increasing TV duties.

Looks like MistaJam is covering the chart & dance anthems until at least the 4th of May whilst Greg is back doing Sounds Like Friday Night.

So it brings me to thinking as the station we all love heads into it's Golden Year some people will be moving on. Others due a nice shiny upgrade. It's now or nether for Greg it's Breakfast or Cricket 2017 is the year we find out. Btw loving Greg and Scott's Shows lately. I like that. I think Scott needs to stay on the weekday schedule though, either in his current slot or back to 4-7 and thus taking over the chart.

I've been through some of the other albums and come across some others I've heard used on Dev's and Scott's shows. Good stuff
Currently searching for a backing that Greg James occasionally uses near the start of his shows, quite an upbeat one but I haven't heard it for a few weeks.

He's used a couple of other tracks off there as beds as well (Reflected Illusions and Techno Junkie), and Jellyfish Groove, Don't Go Back to Glitchville and Hold The Lights are from other albums on that site.

A thought just occurred to me. Who will cover the chart now when Scott is ill or on holiday? Do we think MistaJam will continue to be the main cover or is it possible Greg could cover? Might be stepping on Scotts toes a bit if he did.
