However, I'll edit something from a 1997 show, and they had a news bed. A dreadful sounding one aswell! The 1998 Newsbeat stuff sounded awful. 1999, great, 2000, not brilliant, 2001,2002,2003 all good, 2004 not very good (although remixes were introduced later that year, and they were much better), 20005+6 great, 2007+8 a little bland, but still good, 2009 and 10 very good. The new News package has a lot to live up to.

Just something that I've been thinking, once a package is finished airing, does the BBC still own any of it, or does the composer fully own it? I'm pretty sure, the Composer owns it. Anyone know?

Well, here's how it's meant to work: News In News Bed Tail Bed Sports Weather (on some bulletins) News Closer. Here's how this bulletin went: News In (with no newsreader's voice, as the feed wasn't up) News Bed (without logo, just faded in from the headlines bed) News Closer (instead of sports bed, plus, sports was meant to come AFTER another news story) Final news story (as they presses the wrong button, the sports started too soon, so they had to add the final story after the sports) Closing Statement (without news closer) So really, there was something wrong with everything
