Where people get confused is where theres "holidays" and "other work". I think Grimmy said he was going to be doing some other work. Other daytime/weekend presenters are likely to have more time off the radio then Chris and Scott because of outside work

I dont see why he needs to go on about it apart from the occasional surgery to give advice etc. We dont hear much about Greg and Ellie so why do we need to know loads about Scott and some guy. Onto the breakfast thing I feel it maybe to late for him and he'd need a whole new team and whole new show to make it a success as he's lacking Chappers. When he covers breakfast he just seems to get rid of everything Chris does (even tho its Chris's show) and replaces it with music and generic stuff which could be heard any time imo. I do like Scott however as a solid afternoon presenter

I only been a radio 1 diehard for just over a year but i remember weekend slot as 7:00am Grimmy/Chappers and Dave/Dev 10am Vernon/Sara 1pm Nihal 4pm Fearne and Reggie

Nihal is in for Jo Whiley 21st/22nd August

I've said this before but Scott really should utilise Tulip and Juliette and have much less music

Just noticed that BBC and radio times have changed their listings to just 06:30–10:00 Scott Mills 02/08/2010 Scott is in the hot seat while Chris and the gang take a break.

Things I'd like to see in Scotts breakfast show include: A new cheesy song for Scott, less music and certainly have a good 10/15 min link at least at start of show as 10am after is the time for lots of music. More jingles - back in the day he had a variety of jingles ala Chris but he seems to have lost them all Proper and regular interaction with whoevers in (at a guess Tulip and David) Friday Golden hour

Annie's much more suitable for that slot IMO. If it were up to me I'd have her on 10am every Mon-Thur with Jo or Sara on Fridays to take into account her other shows

Just been thinking that some presenters never seem to take time off so wondered how holidays worked - Dev, Huw Stephens, Matt Edmondson (was gonna say Nihal but he's off tomorrow and next week), Tom Deacon and Pete Tong (heard Vernon fill in once when it was at 7) spring to mind. Reggie to a lesser extent because I think he's always been doing TV stuff when he's been away for the chart apart from christmas.
