Was just thinking - Sara Cox is covering at Radio 2 (while still doing Radio 1), Jo Whiley presented on both stations for a while, Trevor Nelson does 1/1xtra and Radio 2 so wondered why Colin Murray, Chappers etc couldn't maybe do a Radio 1 show once a week

Jo Whiley doesn't start until 8 as there's something on before her on Radio 2. Steve Lamacq is presenting solo on 6 Music at 7 so perhaps there's only 1 BBC studio there

Shame I think espec for Drive - Tulip and Chappers used to start at half 3 when they were on

Just wondered whether there were cuts at Newsbeat as there always used to be a news and sports reader (Dom + Tina or Tulip/David or Simon Munday) in the mornings, afternoon from half 3 (Chappers or David Garrido) but since Chappers left David didnt seem to do bulletins apart from the main newsbeat and weekend breakfast (guy called Jamie I think) and now its only weekday morning that you get two people.

Just seen that there seems to be hardly any Radio 1 coverage of Glastonbury bar a 2 hour Thursday show and Monday highlights now Jo Whiley's gone? Is this because its on 6 Music or management think it shouldnt be covered - either way live Glastonbury shows would be more interesting than having a bland Radio 1 weekend.
