Scott did Christmas last year all week as well but in his normal slot. Wouldn't read much into that

I'm surprised Grimmy is in the week 5th Jan as he's the only daytime regular in that full week. Would have been better to have a week either specialist or trying out new presenters or giving Phil & Alice a better slot and give Dev some time off.

Huw will be in at 1pm

Scott will definitely be live! Not sure about Huw tho. The Sound of 2014 is happening the following week. Grimmy's presenting breakfast, whether other shows will be different presenters don't know

He only works for Absolute at weekends, Christian O'Connell also presents on 5 live as well as the breakfast show no reason why Pete can't dip into Radio 1

Wonder what the thinking is having Adele and Pete live on Christmas Day and New Year's Day. If I was gonna have them I'd given them a daytime slot replacing a pre record!

Well Scotts got christmas day breakfast we know that, I think Dev will get Breakfast rest of the week, Danny Howard, Matt, Gemma or even Adele I think will get Christmas slots. Sara might get her last hurrah, Prerecords will prob consist of Derry, Glastonbury, teen awards, live lounge covers.

Scott doesn't appear to be doing many Friday shows lately - Matt Edmondson is covering Friday 6th Dec

I'd have liked to have seen Phil & Alice cover Drive together and give either Matt or Dev the 10pm slot but interesting to try Alice on at Drive

Alice Levine will be in for Greg James on Wednesday 30th and Thursday 31st Oct. Phil will be on at 10pm as usual
