  1. Hi Thomas, well we can hope that it never happens again. But we can never be sure of that.

    Birmingham

Yes they did things well last night. I taped BRMB live onto minidisc, and from callers accounts, they were a bit shaken and shocked, but mainly fine. But things went smoothly. There were apparently some controlled explosions, but no harm done. But as i said, when i went through Birmingham yesterday it made me think. It's the fact that the news (before Thursday), kept going on about the security around "London", and they failed to mention anywhere else. But it sseems that I was right, and the threat is not just in London.

    Birmingham

Just as I thought. I walked through broad street yetersday. And I thought about it. What struck me is the fact that Birmingham and other cities were left in the cold, and the protection was around London this and London that. I agree it is their main target, but if they are going for a straight kill, they go for any big city. I went around Broad Street, and went on the big wheel, and the bull ring. Everywhere where people go infact. But what got me the most was on the train back home. The train was crammed with people, and that made me think that it certinaly is not just London which is under threat. ALL big cities are. For example they could of bombed this tall building Or could of targeted this wheel when full of people Also the Bull Ring could be a target The case is that we can't prevent terrorist attacks all of the time, but we can think outside of London and look at the other cities too. When the football season starts backup, there will be high alert then, I mean a match between say Chelsea and Man U at Old Trafford would be a big target. Tonight they evacuated parts of Brum as a precaution, thankfully everyone seems safe and nothing such as a bomb (so far) has happened, and the emercency services were ready. But it goes to show that it's not just London, it can be anywhere... BRMB (Local Radio) broke the news to us. The DJ's must have some guts to stop at the station (which is on broad street), and broadcast. But I guess it's part and parcel of public service, like Radio 1 did on Thursday.
  4. They have made us proud. It's like they are already over it, amazing. I was shocked at the attacks, but not suprised. We had it coming, and I think this wont be the biggest sadly, so get ready, and not just London. I was in Birmingham yesterday. And the train I was on was more packed than an Indian bus. If they want pure kill, they can go anywhere. It's the sad truth im afraid. But the intelligance service have done well, they have foiled many attacks. So not bad, could of been worse...

the older, the wiser. Do you think if president Kennedy was an 18 year old man at the time that they were beefing with the Russians that we would of still been here. No we wouldn't of been, if he was 18 at the time he would of said "fk it lets nuke em". Some cases call for war, but it proves my point that because he was older he was able to see the other way around things. Thats one of the reasons why young men are in the army, the lack of care and understanding for emotion. And if they dont have families, it makes them into better fighting machines.

Yes, put a bet on that we are all over this by next week. Unlike the Yanks, they still aren't over theirs yet lol. But I guess we are used to it. An American woman was on news 24 earlier saying she couldn't belive how organised we were and calm. She said if it were in stateside, it would be all panic...

Agreed. Find out where these terrorists come from (there are some left alive those who planned it. They should be found and so should their home country), then start attacking their crowded places with innocent people who have no fkin influance on the country's descisions, and see if they like it. Then tell them, "attack us again, and we will wipe out your country totally". But i guess thats why older, wiser men run the country instead of people like me. Because if I did, there would be no more middle east.

Ha, we have been through worse haven't we. I mean the IRA gave us tons more stick than what these d*ckheads will, for example Canary Wharf, and they shot missiles at the MI5 headquaters. And the second world war what we went through! Well, these guys can't scratch the surface. I mean why dont they just give up, with stuff in Iraq as well. I mean did they honestly think beheading Ken Bigley and the other two American hostages, and bombing our troops will stop us?! FK WILL IT! They should just give up, go in a corner and die. The newschannels p*ss me off big-time. Because they say "ohh! Al-Queda this, and they are this strong and that strong" Fk are they, are they forgetting our power?!?
  12. I have had Radio 1 on all day. On Newsbeat at lunchtime they said that al-quackeda or somthin had released at statement on a website saying that they did theis because of "the slaughters that British troops caused in Afghanistan and Iraq". Well i say that is BS, because they commit more slaughter of the people they say they are standing up for in one day. Than the Americans and we have killed in all the time of the war on terror. A muslim leader has just been on TV aparrently saying that they (who did this) are scum. Fair play to him, not only do they hurt us. But they give good law abiding Muslims who do no wrong a bad name. What p*sses me of most of all is the fact that the ppl who did this, probably grew up in this country. This country gave them everything, and yet they choose to go and fight for some dustbowl that has never gave them anything. And for what!? Because Allah said so?!! Fk em! Well I have one thing to say to these b*stards FCUK U! They can never win, they are to weak and cowardly to take us on man to man. Blair looked p*ssed of at them today, and I dont blame him. I knew this day would come, it will just make us stronger like it did with America. Here are some pics to say we are way better than those w*nkers at al-quackeda headquaters will ever be. One final thing... they have: WE HAVE! Ahh! Feel a whole lot better now...
  13. I know some ppl who did that as well. But i dont hate them for it...
  14. Ah Kate, they cant match you in that house today.
  15. Everyone in that damn house. How is that for an eviction, as you can tell reality TV p*sses me off as much as soaps... Although, there was one time in 2002 when i liked Big Brother. That was when Johnny, Jade, Kate, and some other tosser was left in the house. I watched the final night when they tried to strip kate (if i remember right). That was entertaining! I tune in now and see some bloke named "Maxwell" dissing some gay bloke with some form of afro trying to be Prince... What has it come to? Time to call it a day on reality TV and get a new thing going I think...
  16. I agree, the newschannels over here p*ssed me off. All I heard was Paris Paris Paris Paris Paris. It's just like just before Liverpool played AC Milan, it was AC Milan this AC Milan that. Thats the problem with this country, no faith. On the subject of Liverpool, has anyone ever heard this? One of the best peices of radio this year.

    Best England Player

While were on football. Does anyone think Gerrard will spend the rest of his time at Liverpool?
  19. Tony did a good job when the French started to mudsling at us. He just looked as cool as a cucumber while Jaques Chiraques or whatever his gay name is was going red at us. Yet I think Beckhams support was a big role in our sucsess. Also the hard work of all involved helped too...

How it's done... And his 1998 goal against Argentina (MPEG Video, 4.83MB)
  21. Will be 24! Wow! Yes it will be good for the country though, nice stuff.

    Best England Player

I would say Owen is my 1st choice. But they are all good! I would like to see John Terry and Rio Ferdinand get some credit. Because defenders do work hard and they dont get as much credit as the players further upfeild. So it was nice to see John Terry win player of the year (Or somthin) last saeason.
