Mylo and Rosie’s quiz contestant has never heard of Greg James

Radio 1 Early BreakfastRecap of the show on

Danny Mylo and Rosie Madison got the biggest laugh of their Early Breakfast show from an unsuspecting quiz contestant. During their regular game Give Us Another One, James from Cheltenham was asked who presents the Radio 1 Breakfast Show and simply replied, "I have no idea." Pushed to guess, he offered, "He's called Steven," insisting he'd never heard of anyone called Greg. Mylo and Rosie gave him the point anyway, joking that Greg James would be "crushed" to hear he'd apparently been demoted to stand-in for the fictional "Stephen."

The pair also heard from Orion in Cornwall, who described finding a tortoise while doing maintenance work at a crematorium. He posted a photo online and discovered the tortoise, named Dandelion, had been missing from a nearby gatehouse for a week. Rosie and Mylo were delighted, with Mylo doing a David Attenborough impression to mark the happy reunion.

Elsewhere, their regular Swap Exchange feature saw Kevin, who collects cucumbers for a Glasgow pickle business, trade a bag of pickles for a play of Moving to the Sun by Hugo. Rosie joked that their "stock cupboard" of listener swaps was turning into a smelly pantry, complete with a wheel of cheese and thousands of onions. Later, Mylo admitted to a habit of drinking leftover gravy and milk straight from the jug in restaurants, which Rosie described in graphic detail as "freakishly sexual," much to Mylo's mock horror.
