Alright Treacle?! I’m new to all this – I’ve never written a review. Hope you like reading it.
To start off Scott asked Chappers if he looked particularly scary because he saw Edith in the corridor and she screamed at him. Edith said that he had frightened her. After Chappers got in a right mood because Scott did an impression of Edith and Chappers thought Scott was muscling in on his impressions.
Chappers: “You stick to Zane Lowe and I’ll do Edith”
The New Ikea Catalogue
Scott was flicking through the Ikea catalogue last night trying to find some new shelves. But he never found any – in fact he never got past the two pages. Now we find out why. Scott found something in the catalogue that he thought was quite astonishing. He opened the front cover, and then opened the foldy bit and there was a picture. A happy family were reclining on a very big sofa and there was a child upside down, also in the picture there was a dog. Scott asked Chappers if he noticed anything about the dog.
Chappers: “WOW”.
Scott: “Look at the dog it’s on right on the inside cover as you open it up on the Ikea catalogue”.
Chappers:”What is?”
Scott: “Is that what I think it is?”
Chappers: “Oh my goodness”.
The dodgy picture can now be found on the forum…
The Baby Mind Reader
Scott was really excited about today’s show because Derek Ogilvie was coming in to talk. On the show on Channel 5 they get a child who can’t speak yet and Derek talks to them using mind power. Derek then tells the parents what’s wrong and how to fix it after communicating with the baby. But sometimes Derek can get too carried away, and things can get very heated. Chappers doesn’t believe Derek can read the babies minds, and from the clips Scott has played back to him Chappers thinks anyone could get out that out of a baby.
Scott wanted to prove to Chappers that Derek was the real deal. So they brought a baby into the studio, it was their friend Courtney’s baby Reily who is nearly 14 months old. Courtney used to work at Radio 1 and Scott would have liked it if Derek could have told them who the father of the baby is.
Scott: “Lots of people upstairs will be quaking in their boots”.
Courtney didn’t know whether to believe Derek or not. Everything he said was true and there was no way Derek could have known any of it. She felt amazed and disturbed. Chappers was truly astonished.
The Hoff
Scott said he’d found the most amazing music video ever. The music video is Jump in My Car by David Hasselhoff. He might play the song on tomorrows show. Chappers watched the video; he thought the video was slightly wrong. Scott’s computer crashed after he told people to e-mail him if they wanted the link for the video – he got over 20,000 e-mails.
The music video gave Scott an idea. Next week they could re – create the video. With Chappers playing The Hoff, driving round in Scott’s car, with the windows down, blaring out Jump in My Car. Dale in Maidenhead got in touch and said he knew someone who had an exact replica of Kit, the car off of Knight Rider. So we could see Chappers driving round in Kit. Scott thinks it could get more hits than The Hoff video.
Chappers Is Scared
Chappers is going to see The Killers tomorrow in Blackpool – The Vegas up North. He is really excited because he really likes Blackpool. Jo Whiley has asked him to take his swimming trunks. All will be revealed tomorrow.
Tears of Embarrassment
Scott said he gets tears of embarrassment for other people. He actually gets tears when he’s embarrassed for someone else or he actually cries. Scott doesn’t get tears of embarrassment he just goes red. Chappers doesn’t get tears of embarrassment.
